My ancestors fled Bielorussia during the Pogroms in the early 20th Century + finally after the War. They lived in a village called Kamienets near Brest. I really would like to visit and pay respects to Belarus. Also I don’t think Lukashenko is a bad leader. Look at how Belarus has maintained a high standard of living, unlike most post-Soviet states. Whatever works for the people.

I have been several times in Belarus. It's a very pleasant country, clean, calm and quiet. Beautiful nature. Very nice, welcoming and educated people. So beautiful villages with painted wooden isbas with an athmosphere of old times… Good food, good beer …what else ?
