  1. I had a tt bike with a 14cm stem, for some reason I am now on 8cm, I have a 10cm ready to go on, but I'm too lazy to switch it. Would definitely go for long over short.. 1.8m

  2. Well it's clear that you are very undereducated about physics and biomechanics. A stem longer than 140 mm is absolutely ridiculous. The reason that these Muppets have to use longer stems is because they ride bikes that are 1 to 2 sizes too small for them. πŸ™„πŸ™„πŸ™„ the bikes are engineered for a specific stem length or a very small range of lengths. This is why most of the Peloton are subpar bike handlers and run off the road and crash for no apparent reason. When you change the geometry of the bike to an unstable condition coupled with the fact that most of these guys are average bike handlers the end result is winding up on their arses. Unbelievably stupid modifications…πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ

  3. What's the main advantages from having a longer stem as i think it can cause inconfort, mostly in the neck and shoulder area if too far or if you arent flexible enough.

  4. What is the idiotic point of getting a 200mm stem when you push your saddle 200mm forward?
I have a 100mm stem, but I put my saddle in a normal position, 120mm would be normal, as it was back in the 90s and 2000s………but now? It's just plain idiotic sizing.
