it’s so good to have a distributed network of friends, and friends of friends that become your own friends… after spending the night at friends in Bamberg, including a joint dinner to replenish the calories burnt over the past few days and a good breakfast in Bamberg’s old town I am heading off again to Erlangen for lunch… you see, there is a theme going on here… visiting friends and enjoyxing food… due to rain and also because I am not in the mood for busy city roads in Nuremberg I skip a bit and ride a train from Erlangen to the other side of Nuremberg… from there I continue to Donauwörth where I spend the evening with a family from Adelaide, who are on a biclycle tour along the Danube all the way to Budapest with their two children – what an adventure!
