Irish Cycling Criterium Championships 2019 – Criterium racing is becoming increasingly popular here in Ireland, with it’s addictive mix of speed, corners and excitement. Crits take place on a circuit of 1-2 kilometres (In this case, it was a go kart track) which the riders tackled a number of times (50 minutes + 3 laps). The pace was intense throughout, with riders going over their threshold several times. Positioning, cornering and bike handling were key in this race. Fintan Ryan from Track Project IE took the spoils on the night.

    1. Crit racing is MASSIVE in america… why are there hardly ANY crits here??? this country is awful 🙁 i ave a quick question Davy, I'm new to cycling, well it's my second stint after 10 years off, i just got myself a very light aluminium Focus Culebro 4.0. All the hardware is upgraded to Mostly Ultegra with 105 shifters, ultegra/dura ace crankset and derailleur and ultegra rear mech. So it's nicely upgraded. I'm wondering, Whats the best way for a very new rider with a fairly decently racing bike for a beginner to get a power meter? I don't have 500 you know? Thanks Davy!
