    1. Would like to know more about the restrictions on riders who crash and then get behind a team car and are allowed to draft a bit until they gain a little time back. What are the nuances in rules and etiquette in the peloton with regard to these mishaps?

    2. The White jersey should only go to one rider, one time only, keep it under 25 or 23 whatever but give a new rider a chance, it's a major jersey afterall .

    3. The start of this video quicky explains exactly why women's "professional" road cycling is so lame and gets no real respect: the men race for 21 days and 3500 km and the women for only 8 days and 1000 km. Is there a "men's marathon" and a "women's marathon"–and is the women's shorter and easier? No. Is there a "men's ironman triathlon" and a "women's ironman triathlon"–and is the women's shorter and easier? No. Sure, women in general–at the elite level–or typically not as strong as men. (The women's world record time Ironman is about 45 minutes slower than the men's–over about 8 hrs of intense competition.)

So… if the women want PARITY with the men… in terms of money and endorsements and RESPECT… the women need to actually COMPETE (i.e SUFFER) ON THE SAME LEVEL as the men. The distances cannot be SHORTER… the climbs cannot be LOWER… the stages cannot be FEWER–and still be considered PRO cycling–or still be called THE TOUR de FRANCE. It just doesn't work like that. You want the respect, you gotta do the work.

    4. This is awesome. I just got into watching cycling like 2 months ago and videos like this help out alot understanding it. Someone else said doing a video on breakaways would be great. I agree.

    5. If there are 198 cyclists between 22 teams, isn't that 9 cyclists per team (rather than 8)? Or is it another number which is wrong? Or is there 1 reserve cyclist per team?

    6. Awesome breakdown. As a newbie following the tour for the first time, I would love a video giving some context on each competitive team, their leaders, and key themes! Thanks again.
