The other thing that changes car drivers minds is a child trailer.
My local cycle path is plagued by uncontrolled unleashed dogs zipping across it willy nilly, causing near crashes ….and abuse from dog walkers who tell you to slow down . They dont like being told not having control of a dog in a public place is against the law. No problem dogs being walked on the shared path, but get them under control!🤷♂️please.

Here in Connecticut USA we have a law that cars should give cyclists three feet of clearance when overtaking. I ride regularly on the road and during each ride I experience many cars coming closer than three feet to me as they pass. Laws are good, but there is poor education of the law and even more poor enforcement. 😞

I have much worse in US, bridge between Nyack and Tarrytown(known as Cuomo Bridge) has a bike lane that is closed every night from 10PM to 6AM

Another informative and fun video chaps, really enjoyed it. New AGU kit looks good but is there any chance you could tell us what size the GCN team wear with their approx height/weight? Generalised size charts aren't as helpful for judging appropriate clothing sizes as those websites that show you the kit on a person and tell you what size they're wearing so you can see how it fits. Once drove 90 minutes to do a group pre-ride of a 70.3 course with 4000 feet of climbing. Realized when I got there that I forgot my cycling shoes. Did the whole thing in my trainers 🥴

On dismounting, practice you cyclocross skills, dismount at the sign, run past the sign, then remount. In the USA, we get a walk your bike sign. Okay how far. I mean how long do you stop at a stop sign? 🙂
