I’m hassled by two individuals at @UKHSA #nottingham #audit

Emcor UK employee interrogates citizen journalist at government site. Doesn’t like the answers to his questions. Starts barking orders on a public footpath.

Next up, #Karen loses plot and grabs the camera before dropping an F-bomb because she doesn’t like being told to get back to work by a member of the public who pays her wages.

I try to negotiate with Karen but it’s futile.

Countless GDPR fails. Complete lack of basic GDPR awareness.

    #police conflab blocks a crossroad.

    1. They think just because they are civil servant there shit does no stink to me they think they must be some sort of god they are paid by our taxes all they are is welfare recipients they pay taxes from our taxes did you spot the bald headed tyrant mobile number on the back of his phone when he took the picture it shows he has no brain cells in his head

    2. It's bizarre how government employees believe they have a right to demand a civilian explain himself and then ask him to move on. A policeman can't do that, a judge can't do that and the Prime Minister can't do that yet for some absurd reason they think they can and should.

    3. We all understand the 'click bait' concept but as has been said many times, please don't claim assault !!! when someone brushes the camera with there hand,,,,, this is not America! a kick to the Nuts and Punch in the face or caught in a full on sleeper hold then yes, otherwise not needed here..

    4. "Where are you from?", should elicit the reply: "My mummy's tummy! Why do you ask – are you not human too"?
"Why are you here"? needs the reply: "I heard that there was an old fat cow roaming the estate, & suspected of madcow disease".

    5. 'bit of 'ay' neutral position'
      neutral
      /ˈnjuːtr(ə)l/

      "neutral and non-aligned European nations"

      Similar:
      impartial

      unbiased
      unprejudiced

    6. The GDP Regulations do apply to individuals. If you process or collect the data of EU residents (yes, this still applies in the UK), you’re required to comply with GDPR – regardless of whether you’re a business, organisation, or individual.

The GDPR further clarifies that information is considered personal data whenever an individual can be identified, directly or indirectly, “by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.” (Note that identification number applies to vehicle registration marks and any other number by which that person can be identified.)

Trying to hide behind the claim that the person is a ‘journalist’ fails on the grounds that, even a journalist is not above the Protection From Harassment Act, nor indeed section 4, 4a, or 5, of the Public Order Act.
