6 reasons why you should not move to Cyprus. And one of them frustrates me so much that sometimes I’m thinking about leaving Cyprus because of it!

Obviously I’m not leaving Cyprus, but I think it’s important to mention the negative things as well.

Some of the 6 things are more serious than others, let me know in the comments if there is something that I forgot or that annoys you!

If you’re planning to move to Cyprus, definitely make sure to watch this video until the very end and if you need assistance with your relocation you can reach out to me via Riardogorski.com.

    1. "Being born in Germany I am used to getting things done fast and efficiently" piss off bro, Deutsche Bahn is almost always late, bureaucracy in most of Germany is a nightmare and some services still expect you to use fax or mail. What are you even on about ? I am not saying Cyprus is like way better but come on, Deutschland ain't much better.

    2. I am right now in Cyprus looking around to see if we should move here. We live in Malta now. I have one prerequisite to buy a property. No German neighbors who will try to tell us how to live. I am German.

    3. . As someone who is from africa and lived in cyprus i didnt experience any of this. The beaches in limmasol, paphos and aya napa were absolutely breath taking. Never experienced earth quakes and its island life so of course its going to be slow. The gun thing is so dumb because you have to speak on stuff from experience not from what you have heard. I found the cost of living better than in my own country. My salary was enough for me and my son to live off of and he went to the british school too. I also started my own business there doing makeup and nails for brides coming from England to get married as i am english speaking. The weather was amazing but like i said i am from south africa so we get temperatures of 37 degrees. I never sunburned because on the beaches you can hire umbrellas if you forgot. The ONLY complaint i had of cyprus was the amount of cats. 😂 cause i am allergic but other than that i was so so sad to leave – thanks covid – and hope i get to see the country again 💖

    4. I am Cypriot and I have also lived in Germany for six years. Cyprus has many things that you don't mention which are not nice, some are even bad. What you mention in your presentation is shallow research. Earthquakes? Really? Yes, it is perhaps easy to get a hunting gun, but it is not like everybody carries a gun to solve personal issues. Of course you will see the nicest pictures of the beaches. If I plan to visit Germany and google it, wouldn't I see nice pictures? Yes, we are very un-organised people. Yes, we procrastinate, and this is very annoying. No excuse about it. When I was living in Germany I loved how organized and disciplined Germans are. You take Germany, one of the most organized countries (used to be) as a measure to compare Cyprus. I travel a lot in Europe. Neither Germany, nor Europe is what they used to be in terms of discipline or organization. Just saying

    5. Germany, fast and professional? You kidding? As an American, I go nuts whenever I visit Germany with immense bureaucracy, exceptionally negative people, almost complete lack of customer service, closed Sundays, low speed internet, archaic banking, houses with no air conditioners, trains running late, etc. Germany is a joke when it comes to speed and efficiency.
