A talented young writer (Jenna Ortega) embarks on a creative odyssey when her teacher (Martin Freeman) assigns a project that entangles them both in an increasingly complex web. As lines blur and their lives intertwine, professor and protégé must confront their darkest selves while straining to preserve their individual sense of purpose and the things they hold most dear.

  1. If I was the teacher Jonathan Miller, I'd see right through Ciaro Sweet as my student. She's cute but there are millions of cute young women in the world. There'd be no way I would be taken into her web. As the teacher, being much older, with a wife, a career, a great life, there's No way I'm playing into her game. It's NEVER worth it to play with fire. You'll ALWAYS get burned. I have zero sympathy for this teacher.

As far as seeing the film, while it looks to be a very well done production in every way…Nah, I'm good. Maybe one day but I'm not in a rush. I have too much dislike for the teacher here…and the Ciaro character as well. She's a manipulative, conniving game player. No respect. Anything bad that happens to the teacher in this…he deserves it. The film is listed as a comedy/drama. That in itself is funny. LOL

  2. Miller's Girl is a garbage movie. Both male teachers are creepy in the wrong way and both female students look pretentious and look more like a couple of hookers who work as Lot Lizards at truck drivers' stops at night to go to a good school. I absolutely agree with Kyle Smith's review of it on The Wall Street Journal: "Only a generous grader would award this script anything better than a D-plus."

  3. ennesimo racconto della Lolita che ci prova, la Lolita che mette alla prova. Mai dico MAI una santissima volta che mettano in scena il contrario, argomento scomodo? sarebbe ora di trattarlo visto cosa racconta la vita
