We visit Blists Hill, a recreated Victorian town, complete with shops, shopkeepers, horse drawn buses, iron works, a mine and much more from the turn of the 20th Century.

    1. That brought back some memories. I will have to get Lindsay to sit down and tell the story of Craig's day there. They had just started building the Spry on that visit. I think I need to go back LOL. Thanks Bob and Jenny, did you leave Glynn at school?

    2. Thank you for the tour, not somewhere we have visited but will add to our list. The “pie” in the kitchen near the hot cross buns was a Simnel Cake which is traditionally eaten at Easter time. The top and the little round balls are made of marzipan which cover a spiced fruit cake.

    3. Hi guys congrats on the motorhome, so funny I thought oooh a quiet cabin …then realised you'd bought a new one 😅
Just about to go from a caravan to motorhome this week and was concerned about engine power, when I heard you mention the power improvement it intrigued me.
What was the power of the previous Motor. My purchase is 150hp which is ok I hope with 3.5T max weight on 7.38 meter.
Hope u can get back to us on that.
      Have fun

    4. Thai has taken me down memory lane. I didn’t realise Jenny worked for a bank. I worked for one for 18 years. (Our branches quiz team was Where Eagles Dare) 23:16 We always used to go in the pub as legend in our family is we are related to the Banks’s brewing family (my maiden name was Banks). It’s probably not true 😂. They didn’t have the scary train line or the post box collection last time I went. We have a picture taken there back in 2002 ish with Steve, our children and me all dressed up. It’s still one of my favourites. Take care Gill

    5. Hi Both, Really glad you had a lovely time very interesting going around seeing all the different things & recognising one or two things glad the weather was kind to you all the best Lin 💞👍🦋

    6. Jenny : get Bob to take a hearing test.
      Bob: GET A HEARING TEST.

Hi both joking apart are you editing your videos with headphones on,just wondering because sometimes the sound volume and quality is a bit all over the place.
      Nice vids.thanks

    7. Fascinating day out. Loads of things to see there. Sounds like Bob is keen to see the Bank Manager Jenny 🤣 Better keep an eye on him 😉 Very enjoyable video 👍🏻💙 Trev n Sue

    8. Another great video Bob. Jenny made me laugh. ''Trouble getting into bed ? I'd have trouble getting onto that''. I was thinking the exact same thing, and then Jenny said it !!!!! Lets have a go Jenny and see who gets into the worse mess. Bob will have to help us both on,,,, And off !!!! xxxxx

    9. Hi Bob and Jenny a fabulous video and love Blists Hill we have been many times over the years it used to be you could buy your ticket as a passport and you could visit all other sites in the iron bridge gorge over the years which was good as there is so much history all around there
The iron bridge and Jack field tile museum were also interesting
It’s a great day out and love seeing the people in character and the shops and changing into old money at the bank
If you are ever my way the Black Country museum is very similar and a good day out!
Glad you all had a great day out and must go again soon myself! All the best Daniel

    10. This is so strange. My late mum knew a lady that moved to Neath from that area and she used to take the toll on the iron bridge. I met her via my mum many years ago, she has passed away but she loved her job. I can’t remember her name for the life of me. Great video.
