This is the first video featuring a picturesque segment of my ride through and around Lydiard Park in Swindon, Wiltshire.

I’ve taken on a challenge for @TPCCUK which I’ve been contemplating for many years but have always struggled to commit to due to my agoraphobia – so now, although it’s a big step for me, I’m proud to finally be doing something that means a lot to me and will help many others.

The challenge is to ride 100+ miles throughout the month of August to raise money – my minimum target being £300 and I’m pleased to say on the second day of the challenge I’ve already hit £200!

I set a goal of doing 4 to 5 miles a day so I can be sure to surpass my 100-mile target – I’m not the fittest person and have dodgy joints, so the #vanmoof really eases the pressure and pain.
I wanted to start off easy – but after getting lost and confused using the maps on the cycling app, I ended up doing 9.6 miles!

So it’s safe to say I’m off to a great start and If I can, I will double or triple my mileage!

So if you enjoy this fun little clip and would like to donate to a very worthy cause that needs more attention, please donate anything – even just £1 to my Just Giving Page linked here:
