S2 as good as S1!! Cant wait for the next 3 episodes!
3 episodes in of s2 and UGH the whole show is phenomonal!!! i call season 3 already
Finally, can see amy and kirsten back in action!!🌈🌈
Diverse female Officer, what is with strange airman like Cap Badge on the thumb nail for episode 3. That's the attention to detail you can expect. What's that? Oh, sorry RAF is full Woke now too. Aviator's Cap Badge. Clerks (Sorry Personnel Administrators, Oh sorry again. People Operations, lol). Suppliers, Chiefs (even though the vast majority of them don't fly, it's better to call them Aviators rather than calling a woman an Airman, Airperson, thingy. How about concentrating on wining the Air-War & battlefield lethality. Our society is decadent and doomed. Worrying about gender pronouns as Islamists descend on our island unidentified and unopposed. I wonder how many centuries we will lose to Dark Ages this time.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Who wrote this?
So miscast 2 lesbians in the show completely unnecessary why ???
0:80 it's the guy from gangs of new York mcgloin
I hope they don't kill off the lesbian couple like so many shows.
Season two a bit boring this time not great
First season was boring but this one looka better
Season 1 was tremendous. Cant wait for s02.
Loved this series. It was gripping and very well acted. I didn't agree with the negative reviews moaning about airforce drone inaccuracy portrail, it's a drama not a documentary! I didn't get half of the technical jargon myself and it didn't take away from a great dramatic piece.
Excellent thriller tv show. Thank you so much for the representation 🌈
Missed Series 1. Just started watching Series 2 which I thought was extremely well made, except for lesbian relationship which wasn't necessary for the story line. Nevertheless, watched up to and including episode 3 when lo and behold we now have a gay relationship between two military men. I don't have any problem with consenting adults behind closed doors, but I (and the majority of the public) do object to the AGENDA of gay writers, directors and generally the tv industry constantly pushing it in our faces as if it is normal. I won't be watching any more which is a shame because apart from this, it was quite good.
What the hell is going on with these dramas on TV. Vigil wasnt content with two lesbian lead characters, so it has now introduced two gay soldiers as well WTF!!!
This entire season is entirely ridiculous, I assume they didn’t bother with military or police advisors, just a complete load of crap
What a brilliant actress Suranne Jones is! She deserves a best actress award for this series. Excellent programme!
I didn’t even know this was a thing… BBC are probably the worst network out there for advertising their content.
Lost interrest at the start of the first episode. Drones scene is beyond believable. It's complete rubbish.
The fact that the Trident in season 1 is way more spacious than the actual real boat for filming purposes is acceptable, but the armoured drone scene is so unrealistic. Might work for the middle age british woman. Not for anyone with actual service time, domestic or foreign. Bad job BBC writers.
Absolute loose stool water. Dreadful show.
Nice to see more women in "stories and movies" doing something, specially in military.
This is just too much 'drama' for my nerves, especially after the first series .. !
incredibly boring.. I wasted investing in the first season, just to realize all those characters were pontless.. It's like one of those shows where the seasons have no links whatsover.
Oh no. Surranne Jones more wooden than a tree. Terrible actor
For me it was a great storyline hijacked by lesbian and gay relationships that had absolutely no relevance at all to the main plot! Thank you to the BBC for yet again being so woke. It’s always good to keep the attention seekers in the limelight!
The plot is nice however the show is called vigil and it’s named for a submarine the plot should have also considered the vigil submarine
Film Brief LEAKED:
“Make sure all the lead characters are white female, and all the antagonists are white men, ensure there are enough blacks and Arabs also”
A pile of pish. The two main characters bubbling and crying repeatedly saying love you on the phone. Police interviewing suspects alone, in Scotland you require corroboration. Please don't let there be. 3rd series
Good christ I thought this show couldnt get any worse, but then they bring out the second season…for those of us ex military / Police that have to endure this SHITE thanks to loved ones insisting on watching it prepare yourself for…
1) Cops going on arrest enquiries without radios, kit belts, TASERS or body armor.
2) Cops going on arrest enquiries FOR TERRORISTS without armed support.
3) Cops going on arrest enquiries FOR TERORISTS alone or in the company of one other colleague who then leaves them alone.
4) Heavily pregnant cops being allowed to go on arrest attempts.
5) Heavily pregnant cops being left on their own at arrest attempts without adequate searches being done on properties.
6) Detective Chief Inspectors and Detective Inspectors being crewed together to complete enquiries [This invented force has obviously run out of Detective Constables]
7) Detectives that join firearms teams on arrest enquiries who then interrupt armed challenges and begin randomly negotiating with suspects.
8) Detectives entering into interviews outside of interview rooms.
9) Not a single lawyer present for any suspect.
10) AFOs randomly wearing BWV devices on the back of their helmets ?!?
11) Officers "pursuing" vehicles containing suspects without proper training or coms.
12) Military RPAS systems the Size of civilian drones being capable of firing rockets and endless rounds of ammunition with no apparent storage capacity.
13) Police Scotland being renamed The Scottish Police Service.
14) The Royal Airforce being renamed The "Airforce"
yawn yawn etc etc
Season 3? 👉🏻👈🏻 Please?
amazing plot , awesome cast. And their chemistry is the best
what a lot of rubbish women in charge over everything and main characters who are gay with one of them pregnant.all fits the current narative perfectly
No no no.
