Big error of Van den Berg being the fastest man in the breakaway, to attack with 3Km left instead of wait for the final sprint.

The solo win, especially off the front at the end, is worth risking! Glad to see Van den Berg take the flyer. Always a calculated risk—would have been an astonishing success had it worked. I think the climb got him. His legs had to be blown as he then blew out the back.
