Welcome to Bike Routes of Brum! A channel dedicated to showing safe cycle routes around Birmingham and the West Midlands – inspired by @Londoncycleroutes

In this video, we are cycling from Stirchley to Longbridge using the Rea Valley Route. It’s a really pleasant way to get between the two areas and should take about half an hour to cycle.

The route can be downloaded from the .GPX file here:

    1. I use this route regularly as part of a circuit from Lodge Hill and back. Its always muddy in winter but a nice route on a sunny day. The section after Kings Norton park was sign posted as a nature reserve.

Its not a replacement to the A38 blue route extension but sometimes you do want a mostly traffic free alternative. I usually come back behind Morrisons in Rubery and pick up a route via the Merritt's Brook cycle path so that could be a route to film?

Grateful you film these, a useful resource.
