JOY OF GRAVEL RIDING.
It was our first time joining an organized Gravel ride last weekend July 31, 2023. Perfect time to break-in our brand new bikes in this course in Macedonia, CT. It was a brutal 61-miler of 65% gravel, with 7 major climbs averaging 16% grade inclines (total elevation gain 4,720 ft.), but nevertheless it was with spectacular scenery. Thank God the weather was great but it was our individual grit and camaraderie as a group that carried us through the finish.
