This cycling documentary is one of the best I’ve produced. It was an incredible two days of riding around Breheimen National Park. We’re the first people to attempt this route and can safely say few will follow in our footsteps. The home of the glaciers lives up to its reputation!

I take a deep bow for you guys ! An injury is lurking with a bike on your neck in that terrain it seems to me… Fortunately, it ended well ;-). Thanks for making us part in your journeys, great footage as always.
I am moving to Norway in January. Cannot wait.
Impresionantes paisajes durante toda la ruta,
Wow ini hebat 👍(🇲🇨)
What a bit of luck the road was closed to traffic! WOW
I am slightly envious, thanks so much for sharing.
Mesmerizing! Magical- you guys had gotten a great gift, with the GODS of BOLD ADVENTURE watching over you. Many thanks for sharing this amazing incredible video!🙏
you are truly inspiring 🙌🙌🙌🙌
MY GRATE RESPECT TO YOU! HATS OFF!
awesome !!!!!!!❤
Wow never realized Norway was so beautiful thank you so much for sharing
So beautiful.
If you're gonna go off piste! Great filming and thanks for sharing the jaw-dropping cycling scenery of Norway!
Wow, this is an amazing piece of story telling, Matthew. I'm in awe. Like Eirik, I'm speechless.
#ryanvanduzer You have GOT to see this 🙂
Stunning video and impressive achievement. From the riding, the hiking, the filming, the story telling, the editing. I am in awe
Spectacular documentary, thnx for sharing with us.
Wow this is amazing!
I’ve actually cycled from Germany to the north cape and planned on taking exactly that route!
At the end I decided not to give it a try because I was on my own and the weather was bad!
It’s so cool to see someone finally do it!
I would have never expected to find this on YouTube❤
Great video, unbearable amount of ad breaks
Incredible! Thank you for sharing this journey. A lot of work goes into filming and then many more hours of work goes into the video editing. Absolutely in awe of this.
I love your animation at the beginning of the film on a real map – great Job!
Thank you for taking us in this journey. Going to the "no man's land" route in your cycle ride is risky, but you made it. Pretty amazing.
Hopefully Eric didn't fall asleep behind the wheel on the way back home!
Great camera work, thank you, Matthew!
If you want to make an actual list of Norway's top 5 grass roads, one of the roads you should consider is the "Kongevegen over Filefjell" through Lærdal, but using the hiking paths whenever possible. (Especially through Galdane, Vindhella, and the bits around Maristova.)
If road closed, just go around 😁🚴🏋️
I would love to do the walk between Gjerde and Sotaseter – without bike. It would just leave a logistic challenge – how to get to the starting point and how to get away further from the finish point – because I don't like walking on roads.
absolutely brilliant thank you for doing this now I dont have to the scenery really is something else Im off to see Norway!!! but not by bike no way how bout doing another route round another national park in Norway?? sounds to me like a great idea you do the hard work while I sit back and watch 😄
I would be very interested in another one that Strava says no one did on a bike. The hiking path from Nordrestølstjørna to the Songedalen DNT cabin, to get around the limited ferry service at Lysebotn. Looks more doable than this (more epic) one, since you can actually see most of the path on satellite pics.
Awesome, really enjoyed this. Totally relate to you telling how the amazing scenery makes one forget about pedaling and climbing and instead just pulls one along from vista to next breathtaking vista.
Kinda crazy hiking 12k through that mountain terrain, obviously it wouldn't have been possible in bad weather. Get lucky or had you waited for a great weather prognosis?
Why with a gravel tho LMAO, with a mtb that could have been much more ridable. Anyway amazing views and even more of a great performance!
I loved this video. Love the area you've visited there. If you happen to be in Luster again, I recommend road Fv 337 from Hafslo to Tungestølen, too.
Amazing video! How was the road up to the dam? Is it paved all the way up?
Spectacular video, thanks for sharing very well made 😊
You both are so lovely crazy 😅❤👍👍👍 Gå på tur with your bikes trough Breheimen!!! There exist since last year a stripething for carrying the bike on your back! I will search it and send you the name of this hikingtool. Greatings from Hamburg, Claudia
Hei Matthew, know I asked Patrick Zasada which Bikecarrying-Construction he used to carry his bike through the mountains of Switzerland. He used Hookabike from PUSH Components. He is on Youtube and realy crazy!!! Climbing the mountains with his bike 😱 Greatings from Hamburg, Claudia
Inspires me to similar challenges!
