In March 2024 I did the LONGEST TRAIN JOURNEY IN THE UK, all the way from Aberdeen in Scotland to Penzance in Cornwall, England. The LONGEST RAIL JOURNEY IN THE UK includes subtitles because the sound isn’t great due to the rumbling of the Crosscountry train. Cross Country trains are notoriously noisy! So please follow me on the LONGEST TRAIN RIDE IN THE UK, all the way from Aberdeen to Penzance, on the same train!

    1. Amazing work Bev. I tried doing this a few years ago and got as far as Exeter. Then because of the sea water coming over the wall at Dawlish on a stormy night, we had to disembark and get an HST to Penzance and I was 2 hours late getting into Penzance. Leeds is also my home station and I was so tempted to bail when I got there and not spend another 7 hours on a Voyager.
