Day 5 of the Lake to Lake trip.
Ben Jones MTB provided this trip for free, but you guys on Patreon paid for me to get there: http://patreon.com/bkxc
After a nice morning of trainspotting in Switzerland (how many trains do they have??) we took on a brutal 3,000 foot climb that ended up having lift service on the other side 😂. But we got a decent ripper of a descent and some amazing views on the way down! Filmed Sept. 27, 2018.

I won’t be posting the GPS tracks from most of these rides, as they are “off the beaten path” routes that took weeks to scout and piece together.

Dude, without appearing to be rude, for a rider of relatively limited skill and ability, you really should be wearing some shin protection on a trail like that…
Oh wow! So beautiful! 😍 Thank you!
Hey bkxc just wanted to say that youre videos have inspired me to start up my own youtube channel
Wow, what a beautiful ride !
This series is reaching Harry Potter level!
but that food though :-)!
Your comments on grip shifts are not excuses, I was really surprised that the bike you are riding had them. I thought grip shifts went the way of the dinosaur like friction shifters . The comments you have of them are the reason I thought they were not used any more, because they far inferior shifting system than what out now.
Brian, U the Man !
Putting those German skills to the test mate 😉
Good job for the most part though
Srs question: when you ride a trail or terrain that you've been to before, do you find that you take different lines or ride a little more ballsier than if you were 100% blind?
That is a lot of cured meat. Hope your colon's ok! 😉
Making a shadow vid would be awesome ríght.?
You should ride Mount Wellington in Tasmania
I miss the orange bike. 🙁 Great stuff kid, cheers!

Returning home from work, traffic jams, eat, watch BKXC new video's, sleep, dreaming about these virtual trips, wake up, eat, traffic jams, work… at least this channel is giving me positive energy, keeping me focused for the next spring eMTB and MX rides… amazing footage, positive energy as always. Thx a lot.
what tyres were on that bike?
who else remembers this spot from Gran Turismo 5 ?
Kind of funny how you eliminate the clouds and the grey sky you change the whole dynamic! If you didn't say this trail was from last year's video, I would have never known!
Wait up, I've got to pick my jaw up off the floor. The views in this series are incredible.
Very cool riding! Not sure if someone else has already said in a past video or something, but the reason you have to backpedal to get into the easier gears is to release the "Pauls" in the gearbox. It's the same in my Surmey Archer hub in my Brompton.
What a tour! great riding and great scenery
When you passed those first people I thought you said "zwei bier" as a joke LOL, only realised the second time you passed people that that wasnt what you said 😀
Amazing views as expected, I love Switzerland!
Are you going to get the hero 7?
You zig and you zag, climb till your sick, then zig and zag again.
Beautiful. And the meal at the end looked delicious.
Your breaks squeak so much you should get that checked out
Only bit by bit I can catch up with all the great videos you post! This is another stunner! I've been to St. Moritz at the end of last April when I shuttled my Dad to St. Moritz for a 80th birthday trainride to Tirano & back. I tried to do the 673 back then, but there still was too much snow everywhere. I planned to come back anyway, but after watching that video, it is 100% I have to go back 🙂
That looked like an epic
