    1. Who's the hot chick at 56:21? Send more! A GREAT video and a real blast! Johnny does wonderful work! That man could sell seawater in the middle of the Atlantic!

    2. I need to start an import business! Used prices in Britain are crazy cheap in comparison.

On another note, recently came across a Franchi international trap from the early 70’s that apparently was crazy expensive new in it’s day. Curious if anyone has seen one or knows anything about them as they weren’t very popular it seems. Not surprising I suppose since they cost about 20% the cost of a new car and the equivalent of 8-10k today but I got it for less than it sold for new so I either got a great deal on a high quality gun or I bought an overpriced clunker that you can’t get parts for 😁

    3. Given your affinity for wierd gadgety pumps, you should spend more time with that broken down gun you momentarily grabbed from the side early in the segment with Simon. It's a forward pumping two shot trap gun from the beginning of the 1900's.
I also noticed another somewhat gadgety pump in the catalog: a Remington model 10. Striker fired, and the shell carrier rather than hinged at the rear is side hinged. Not a great design, but interesting.

    4. The more modern winchester didn't deserve to be called winchester's. The 101 line was epic, 6500 is still one of the best guns ever made. Such a shame they fell through, and browning should have Miroku use the original tooling to make a limited run

    5. I popped in (2 hr drive) to Holts at the weekend for their main auction, and the sealed bids; with the wife and younger son in tow. They (holts) couldn’t have been more obliging.
Nick holt was there, talking to my 10yr old about what to look for, and checking memsaab was comfortable. Looking through the sealed bids, i bumped into Simon R, who talked us through a gun for my son – who was awestruck, actually starstruck, over ‘the antique-gun guy on youtube’ and spend the next 2 days explaining to me the diff between boxlock/sidelock, damascus/steel barrels.
Best weekend trip i’ve had for years. I didn’t win on the main auction, but i’m still hopeing on the sealed bids!

    6. Will you pleeeeeze stop highlighting the guns I want to bid on. Genuinely, this is the third time ! I think I’ve found a cheeky bargain and you keep bumping the value up!! 😫

    7. 1984-ish first gun was a Parker-Hale o/u 12 bore rounded pistol grip. Made by Winchester Japan. Nice workhorse & kept till 2010 moved up to Beretta 686

    8. I wish you would show us what the market is like for combi guns I have searched for a 12 gauge over a 25 caliber maby a 264 for a game gun I currently use a 257 Roberts bolt gun and a 12 gauge pump I would love to combine the two of them or at least come close in one combination gun

    9. My favorite side by side is a Winchester model 24 people have only had things to say about it but if you try to buy one you would think here in the states that they were all gold plated it is the only gun that has really felt instinctive that shoots rite where it should is there very many over there

    10. I have just seen that Lamberts in Ringwood are closing for good. This is the First place I got to meet Johny and he sorted me an amazingly good deal on a .223, probably over 10 years ago now. How do you guys feel about it?
