This is the final video of the series for Stockport interchange as it is now open to the public. There is a series of my videos from the start month by month, watching the progress of this gigantic project.

    1. I think it would be easier to just walk to the main road and down to the bus station instead of that twist and turn route march.
The bus station does look nice and new but the buses will still be just as useless every 10 to 15 minutes if you are lucky. London has the best transport service in the UK with buses every three minutes. All buses have 2 or 3 doors. Enter at the front exit in the middle or rear. All cashless. Oyster card or Debit Card only. Bus lanes everywhere. All buses have auto PAs announcing the stops and free travel for me as an OAP when i visit which is even better.

    2. A really nice and quiet tour of the whole station, the rusts should of painted in green instead. Next time do a food review while sitting down on one of the new chairs. Thanks for showing us, excellent 😀👍

    3. the bus interchange looks great lets hope any vandalism is kept out but unfortunately i doubt it which will be a shame as it has bought stockport into something that it can be proud of looking forward to my visits to town from buxton

    4. The new "walkway" between the train and bus station doesn't reduce the distance. If anything it makes it further since you have to go down lifts/the stairs at the station now. Really annoys me how they have marketed it as being "connected" to the station and it is now an "interchange" when it's just the same as before, but prettier – also wheelchair accessible as you mentioned.

I feel they should have cut through the NCP car park and made it more direct.

    5. Looks fantastic and safe, if you think thats a trek, try walking from Stoke station to the bus station…… and when the tram arrives in Stockport, it will be even easier to use public transport.

    6. Went down the day the park opened and was very impressed with it all. Having lived here for 25 years now, the redevelopment in this part of Stockport is definitely a good thing, and can't wait to see what else is to come with the regeneration of that whole area. I'd imagine the reason the toilets and ticket office were closed was because it was Easter Sunday – even the big supermarkets are closed on that day! (Edit – just got to the part of the video when you acknowledge why everything's closed! 😂)
