    1. I didn’t know your audience was so tight!! City location, well fitted out restaurant, high quality ingredients and cooked well. How much would people be prepared to pay? I will certainly check it out when I’m next in Leeds (which is never to honest)

    2. It's a hard one isn't it lee some ppl saying it's expensive but would ppl rather pay under a tenner and moan or pay good money for what looked like a fantastic meal in a cracking environment….its all about testing the pockets I guess

    3. Firstly hash browns should be chucked. Secondly the tomatoes should have been off the vine. They always explode. Everything else looked great. Poached eggs were excellent. Dogs are fine if under control. The price was twice as much as it should have been. For my family £100+ for breakfast. Crazy!

    4. Gary Eats paid £50 for a breakfast for 2 at the Hawksmore:

      smoked bacon chop
      sausage
      black pudding
      hash browns
      grilled bone marrow
      trotter baked beans
      fried eggs
      grilled mushroom
      roast tomatoes
      unlimited toast
      HP gravy

In London, so worked out £25 each between him and the cameraman.

Stunning ingredients – as much as this place looked good I can’t help but thinking for Leeds paying nearly £15 for a breakfast and then having to pay another £5 for additions of hash browns and black pudding is a bit of a rip off.

It did look good tho 😋

    5. Crikey, I live Bradford next door. Way way over priced like a lot of stuff in Leeds. Go to Riccis place in Halifax next time your in gods country far superior breakfast!

    6. I think for £14.55 they could include a hash brown & a slice of black pudding, too many tomatoes for me & too expensive! I can't travel backwards on a train either 🤢

    7. Wow, inconsistent again. Small brekkie, shown by cherry tomatoes taking up half the plate. Let's not mention price, tiny plate, lack of customers too. 5/10. They weren't proper butchers' sausages. The texture looked processed and they were deep fried.

    8. Looked nice definitely a 9/10 I'm knocking one off for the price, if you are paying for 2 that's £50 for breakfast. Nice bit of Marshalls products at 6.53 😀Have you had breakfast at the Arnage @ the Motorist you get breakfast and to see some cool cars.

    9. Twenty five quid for an admittedly lovely looking breakfast? Sorry, not for me. As for the packages of HP, they call it convenience, when it's really portion control. Good review, mate.

    10. Looked nice Lee and you obviously enjoyed it. BUT, £14.95 + £2.95 for 1 black pudding + £2.95 + for 1 Hash Brown + a Latte .That for me is just taking the mick. I don't believe in giving scores because I wasn't the one eating the grub. If I'm in Leeds I'll give the place a miss. I dont think that dogs should be allowed in restaurants and that alone would put me off. All the best.

    11. This gives me, as a tight northerner, nightmares.

For £1.20 more last night I got three 12" pizzas, two portions of chips and 3 dips (oh and a big bottle of Fanta).

Not sure about value for money, even in the city.

    12. Glad yoou enjoyed it, but, personally i thought it looked awful, especially for the price. Those poached eggs had been cooked in those pouches from the look, i have never liked the big mushrooms, but personal preference every item … lol onthe tomatoes attacking you happens to me far too often, i am often told im picky by him indoors, but i often agree with your scores, but some places take the micky on the prices…

    13. Way to experience empty seats no wonder people are struggling to pay the bills and they want £15 for a breakfast 😂 can’t see that place being there for long did look good but two expensive sorry .

    14. I live in a fairly high priced area of the USA and regarding the pricing I'd say it's close but higher. Considering that you got the latte and the add-on pudding w/hash browns I think that if you eliminated those we'd be around the similar pricing. However, in the USA these days they kind of expect that we're going to tip the server on top of that at a minimum 15% but really it's 20%. FML

    15. How much!!!!!!!! yes it looked ok, but half the plate taken up with the toast, should be on a separate plate with the butter, cannot believe at that price you have to pay extra for hash browns & black pudding, 6.5 from us

    16. Have to agree with a lot of the other people.commenting lee. Looked small and dare i say, slightly pretentious. Cherry toms on the vine, not on an english breakfast, especially when your tomatores and toast are taking up half the plate. If you hadnt have gotten your hash browns and black pudding (hash's looked small and thin too btw), i think you'd have been leaving hungry after a £20 plus breakfast. Its a 6 from me, but then who gives a 10 for anything. It would have to be perfection to get a 10. Ill let you off as i feel you may have been suffering some peer pressure giving it that score! 😉
