    1. Would you recommend full suspension for gravel? All flat here. Just don't want the bejesus shaken out of my hands and ass.

    2. I have a idea if ya want for a future video- make a cool guide to your pedals- not a nerdy one comparing shimano spd to crank bros and thanking about release angles yadda yadda yadda I just wanna see what the gang is wearing shoe wise and pedal wise when out for a day. “Tell me about your pedals!”…also I think your camera glitched and cut out your arms for a bit-could not see them in some bits

    3. I don't like you. Your videos are too good. Incredible really. And every time I watch, you "convince" me to buy baller/gucci @$$ equipment. It's not ok Dustin. It's not ok.
LOVE YOUR CHANNEL BRAH! Hope to ride with you one day!

    4. always use both brakes at the same time. If you ride loose gravel -> use more back brake. Tarmac -> more front. But always both of them. This tips works Snow, ice, gravel, sand, path and tarmac.

    5. 50 miles gravel…not = to 50 miles tarmac. Gotta adjust expectations. Rule of thumb for me on all day gravelly rides: prolly 35-55 miles with 3500-5500 elevation. Usually choose something within those boundaries…oh and don’t fall. Cuz it sux.

    6. really low gearing if you plan on carrying stuff. i recently moved from a 40t chainring to an elliptical 38t with an 11-42 cassette. it means i don't suffer on climbs while i'm carrying stuff, which is most of what my riding is. the only "negative" is i get to stop pedalling and get aero slightly earlier on road descents

    7. My tip: buy a mountain bike in addition to your gravel bike. They both have their strengths, but doing some more technical single track riding will give you confidence to tackle anything you might find during a long gravel ride.

    8. Sweet Potatoes contain amylase, an enzyme that convert starch into sugar. The enzyme is activated while the sweet potato bakes. Since baking a sweet potato takes longer than steaming or frying, baked sweet potatoes are significantly higher on the glycemic index than the other cooking methods. I can imagine this comes in handy for high intensity rides.
