    1. I like MvdP and congragulate him on his win. It is nice to witness someone who is beating records and is obviously on another level but I prefer competitive racing. Or at least one where the winner doesn't strike out at 50km left to go and wins solo. JMHO

    2. I think Philipsen has a better chance at winning Roubaix by staying on the same team as van der Poel and filling in as the leader whenever he gets the chance just as he did during the sprint in this yrs Milan San Remo because if he changes teams then he would need to race directly against van der Poel as well as Mads and Wout and all the other teams and i dont think he has the staying power to keep up with them if he had to react to all of their attacks towards the end of the races.. Also i like that Phil Liggett keeps calling Matheiu Adri instead, i think its good to keep everyone familiar about his family`s long history in the sport !

    3. Phillipsen’s contract is set for renewal this year so change is potentially imminent. However, will Jasper have a better chance on a different team? The foil of Van Der Poel meant Phillipsen gets to sit in. Different team Phillipsen gets attacked by Van Der Poel, WVA & Trek. He loses the best lead out man in the world come le tour…. Also Jonny Milan will become the world’s top sprinter in the coming 1-2 years IMO.

    4. AJ August is a special physiological talent. Interesting how his mindset is… he seems a nice stable lad. Probably a GC contender rather than a Roubaix rider but fantastic he rode it. What an experience!

    5. Even if was Wout van Aert there, he couldn't follow Mathieu. Wout van Aert is a very good cyclist, but he cannot keep up with the level of Mathieu van der Poel. I am aware that the Belgians do not want to hear that, but van Aert will never win the Tour of Flanders or Paris Roubaix if van der Poel participates.
