👉 Did you always wanna go to Germany but didn’t wanna go by yourself or simply didn’t know where to go exactly? Then come travel to Germany with me this summer, together with a local guide and a whole group of like-minded people! 🎉

On this 11-day trip, we’ll explore my beautiful hometown of Munich and visit King Ludwig’s fairytale castle Neuschwanstein before we head to northern Bavaria to explore the medieval history of Nuremberg and its world-famous food, including Lebkuchen (gingerbread) and Bratwurst.
Then, we’ll let Rothenburg ob der Tauber enchant us with its half-timbered houses and cobblestone allies before we make our way to Heidelberg for its famous castle and breathtaking views. Our last stop will be Germany’s vibrant capital of Berlin, where we’ll see the Brandenburg Gate and the Reichstag, learn about the city’s unique history, and those who want to can explore the infamous nightlife! 🕺💃 This trip will have everything, from stunning landscapes and magical castles to buzzing cities and German cuisine – including beer of course! I can’t wait to meet you guys in person and show you my beautiful home country of Germany this summer! 😊

ABOUT ME: Hallo, Servus, and welcome to my channel! My name is Felicia (Feli), I’m 30 years old, and I’m a German living in the USA! I was born and raised in Munich, Germany but have been living in Cincinnati, Ohio off and on since 2016. I first came here for an exchange semester during my undergrad at LMU Munich, then I returned for an internship, and then I got my master’s degree in Cincinnati. I was lucky enough to win the Green Card lottery and have been a permanent resident since 2019! In my videos, I talk about cultural differences between America and Germany, things I like and dislike about living here, and other topics I come across in my everyday life in the States. Let me know what YOU would like to hear about in the comments below. DANKE 🙂

    1. UPDATE: The trip sold out in under an hour which is WILD 🤯 But some of the bookings came in twice so we just opened the booking back up for a few more spots! 👉https://prime.joinmytrip.com/product/munich-to-berlin-with-feli-from-germany

If you'd like to come and didn't get in anymore, just email me at felifromgermany@gmail.com with the subject WAITLIST and I'll add you to the waitlist. 😊😊I can't wait to travel with you guys this summer! 🥳

5:39 *You should at least be 18 years old!

    2. Defiinitel a good choice of destinations. Being around Franconia, maybe Bamberg could have been another nice option… but beside that, sounds like a quite nice tour. 🙂

    3. I think this trip sounds wonderful and I will definitely be on my computer tomorrow in time and can hopefully get one of these 20 spots!!! Thank you so much for putting this trip together!!!

    4. Hallo from Munich! We had such a beautiful sunny day today. Everyvody was out, the streets were full of live. The atmosphere was so vibrant! All people in a good mood and smiling😅❤!

    5. Although this trip sounds quite interesting, I won't be able to join it due to personal circumstances (not financial ones).

I do recommend that everybody arrive early by at least two days. This gives the opportunity to adjust to the time zone, allow for flight delays, and recover lost luggage.

I don't think I would be able to do the bicycling, though I think I'm still up to waking despite my advanced years.

Note that Americans on Medicare need to make sure you have medical insurance as medicare does not cover emergencies outside the US.

Lastly, make sure that you have the right adapters. In most cases, phones, laptops, tablets, fancy camera equipment, CPAP machines, and electric razors and electric toothbrushes can run on European voltage so you'll only need an adapter (a "shape changer"), not a converter (a "voltage changer").

    6. Hallo Feli,
dass ist ja eine super Tour! Traumhaft und beneidenswert. Ich wünsche einen tolle Tour. Ich war schon fast an allen Orten gewesen, wäre in meiner Jugend fast in Heidelberg hängen geblieben. Einfach wunderschöne Orte.
      Liebe Grüße
      Klaus aus Düsseldorf

    7. Hi Feli,

I am a 63 year old American that finds your vids very refreshing. I consider myself to be a 'student' of history. I LOVE history.

Why do you think The United States is headed down the same path that Germany traveled prior to WWII? My friends that support Donald Trump CANNOT/WILLNOT see that he is headed down the same path that Adolf Hitler traveled, calling people 'VERMIN' and saying 'They are poisoning the blood of OUR country'' when referring to people who do not follow him? This type of talk is destructive for the U.S.

We can build a better world only when we work TOGETHER,.

    8. Hey Amazon … we can see more of her country here at home, and in more vivid high definition. And we can order all the ingredients for the bratwurst at home. The glamour of globetrotting is fading fast.

Ich durfte u.a. schon Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, New York, Kalifornien und Nevada besuchen. Das war jedes mal einfach nur ein Traum. Machs guad und bis boid a moi – Joachim

    10. Hopefully you will continue the trips. I've wanted to go to Germany for so long but I haven't had an opportunity and this year we can't go because of a family reunion at the end of June so getting time off and paying for a second trip this year are both out of the question, but it would be better to be with someone who I feel like I know from these videos, plus we used to live in Cincinnati.

    11. Big fan of the history of the Wehrmacht, but other than that??? I am guessing that Germany is far from the top tourist attraction in the world? Bora Bora, Himalayas, Venice, Cancun, Bahamas ect ect?

    12. It sounds awesome! Unfortunately I can't travel like that due to my disabilities, I need to take my time and rest a lot, but hopefully someday I'll be able to go and see many of those places in my own time. I also don't really have the money to travel right now after I went to Spain for 5 weeks this time last year.

    13. It's out of my price range, but I do know from doing some research around with different travel/tour guide companies, the price is pretty typical of what you would find for a trip of that length with different cities and a guide. That being said, I wish I could go, but I also wish anyone that does get to go to have the experience of a lifetime and enjoy it. No need to be petty about it in the comments.

    14. Feli, we live in Germany but would love to join your tour. Would it possible to join your in Munich? It would be my husband and me. We would not need transportation there.

    15. Me trying to understand how a Segway tour in the touristy places of Heidelberg is even possible because of rhe overcrowded streets and the mountains that you have to climb to go to the castle and stuff 🤔😅
(And that's a really cool initiative but not very price accessible tho)

    16. Berlin's great and an excellent base for day-trips to Sachsenhausen and Potsdam. Great transit and lots of fascinating history.

    17. We are just visiting Germany right now. In Franconia, besides Rothenburg, Dinkelsbühl was very nice too. Just made it to Thuringia. Spent some time in Saxonian Switzerland too, unfortunately the fires and beetles have affected a lot of the pine forest there especially on the Bohemian side.

    18. As a young boy in 1963, my father who was in the U.S. Army, he was stationed on a base in Straubing, maybe it was in the Mansfield Kaserne section of Straubing. My father met my mother after WW2 as a soldier in 1951 and they married on Oct. 4, 1952. My Mom's mother had a home in Heidelberg and I visited her with my Mom and Dad. I would love to see the home now and how it has changed. Germany amazed me even as a 6 and 7 year child and I will never forget the Straubing Army base which probably is no more, but maybe part remain. You would be the best tour guide one could ask for and to relive your childhood, and of course enjoy the great German Food like bratwurst with that brown mustard, and those delicious German tortes and marzipan & white chocolate. I do have cousins in Weinheim which is close to Heidelberg, and I will never forget the beautiful castle. The photos I have and even the caps my folks bought for me, are treasured memories. You only live once and man it would be such a wonderful time and who knows, stay there and just enjoy beautiful Germany that offers so much happiness which spells good health as well. I think you have given me the urge now to get in touch with my German cousins who visited me and my Mom in 1999. Before she passed away a few months after the visit by my cousin Karola and her husband Andreas with their children, my Mom appreciated them so much. God Bless you Feli for bringing beautiful Germany into our hearts♥Sincerely, Bill M., Uncasville, CT☺

    19. My advice is, since you're going to Berlin, be sure to have a Döner there. Not just any Döner but search out one of the best. The best Döner of my life was at Rüyam Döner in Berlin. YouTuber Andong calls it the pinnacle of Döner due to the roasted veggies, cheese, sumac and I loved the fresh lemon juice. Out of all the Döner in Berlin, he says this place offers the most intricate culinary experience. The bad thing is, I cannot just go eat a Döner in my city now, it won't be half as good.

    20. I lived in Germany for 3-years in my early 20's and some of the best experiences were not only the beer festivals but also the wine festivals like Wurstmarkt Bad Dürkheim. Most of your videos mention a lot about the beer, and of course, it's Germany and they're known for their beer, but they also make some tremendous wines. You should do a video about the wine festivals around Germany.

    21. Oh wow, my wife and I are flying in on the 20th. I am in Stuttgart area for a business meeting later in the month so my wife leaves early and I stay on. Hmmm we’ll have to consider this!

    22. Well, I guess I can forget about the trip! I've been to Muenchen and Neuschwanstein, I have relatives in Nuernberg and been there several times. Rothenburg, Heidelberg and Berlin I havent been to.
