A seven-mile linear walk in Hertfordshire, starting in Hemel Hempstead and passing through the countryside to Berkhamsted.
My walk begins at Hemel train station, and initially follows roads to Roughdown Common, then passes through to Sheethanger Common and Bury Wood.
Footpaths then lead me down to Gorsefield Wood, where I join the bridlepath around Westbrook Hay, across Little Hay Golf Course and into the village of Bourne End, to join Sugar Lane, heading towards Berkhamsted.
The final section of the walk takes me into Berkhamsted town centre via the cemetery.
This was filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 11 in March 2024, on a day that started bright, but then turned to heavy rain.
If you would like to suggest a walk for me to video, please let me know in the comments.

Lived around here for 57 years – and theres bits of that walk ive only just seen for the first time; Mind you, – a lots changed over the years. Nice one. Thankyou. 😊
I couldn’t click on this fast enough! I thought I knew the area pretty well, but I’ve discovered so many new routes courtesy of your videos.
Today, I cycled with my nephew from Bunkers Park in Leverstock Green down to Apsley, along the canal towpath to Boxmoor, and then we got off before Berkhamsted. From there, we headed up to Potten End via Little Heath, which was wonderfully scenic. Just the day before, we traveled up the Nickey Line to Harpenden and back. We were absolutely shattered!
I just wanted to thank you for recommending OS Maps some months ago; it’s been an invaluable resource on my journeys.
I’m also pleased to see a number of comments on your more recent videos! I look forward to seeing your channel grow.
