    1. Hidden jem of the world , so many ancient ruines all to yourself , cheaper than thialand , the friendliest people ever . More mountians than any other country in the world .

    2. Wonderful place, food and peaceful people. LBGT+ society is also welcome, and quite save. Yes its Balkans, some people are back in the past but we also have nice electric dance scene and mainstream culture. Come see, and if you don't like it, you don't pay it. Greetings from Macedonia.

    3. Naming the monasteries, doesn’t mean that you say something about the history. Who made all that? ( dare to respond).

    4. macedonians like the rest of greeks: had greek names, spoke greek, worshipped the same greek gods, named their placenames with greek names, participated in greek olympic games, traced their originis in greek mythical heroes, spread everywhere the greek language and culture, used coins written in greek

    5. "First university and first alphabet in the world"… What a joke ! The oldest university is certainly the "University of Bologna" founded in 1088. And the first alphabet is the phoenician alphabet.

    6. I'm going there on 14th June to Lake Ohrid. Just for a week, but looking forward to it. I love visiting new countries with history and lovely scenery. We can now fly there from my home city of Manchester.

    7. So blessed for someone advertising my Macedonia🇲🇰. Its gods country it is mentioned in the Bible. “North” is just corrupt politicians. Keep visiting and enjoy ur time ❤

    8. I used to live in Kosovo what Macedonia doesn’t need is a load of drunken Brits. The wine and food is really lovely. Because it’s from former Yugoslavia the tourist accommodation is really nice in parts but can be a bit shabby in places.
It’s a really lovely part of the world and Skopje is only 3 hours away from Thessaloniki in Greece.
I hope it it becomes popular it’s not ruined by drunks that goes along with the typical U.K. tourist demanding English cooked breakfast 🙄

    9. Huge "history" …yeah there is …pure Bulgarian history. Could you check your facts before presenting them on national TV? Just type the development of the Cyrillic alphabet in Google and you will get the idea where and how it was developed. And you will also get an idea why North Macedonia will not join the EU soon.

    10. Ohrid is one of the rare places in the world where it has dual UNESCO protection. Ohrid the city for it's Cultural heritage and Lake Ohrid for it's Natural. Lake Ohrid is the oldest and deepest lake in all of Europe! It has hundreds of endemic creatures and the local trout (pastramka) is delicious! Next to Ohrid is Struga and it has a river which runs out of (instead of into) the lake. Very unusual, I could go on and on, but hey, come see for yourself. Brits are welcome 🎉
