    1. Hi, I'm in Mallorca at the moment for work and am looking at getting a 125 just as a runaround. Will my CBT cover me for that over here? I'm assuming it all falls under the Spanish rules.

    2. These stickers are mandatory for countries not belonging to the EU, and it is a European standard, not a Spanish one. Welcome to Brexit

I have been reviewing the legislation on vehicle registration plates inside and outside the EU space and I think that the UK, despite not currently being a community state, is a signatory to the Vienna Convention agreements and therefore its license plates they should be recognized by the other signatories of that agreement, including Spain and the rest of the EU countries. Of course, as long as at least the initials of that state appear on the license plate. It is not enough for the drawing of that country's flag to appear. Therefore, in my opinion, your license plate would comply with this international legislation and you should not need to add the oval sticker. Un saludo.
