We find a very good aire on the edge of La Rochelle (Camping Car de Port-Neuf) which is a short, flat cycle ride into the City centre. We enjoy strolling around the huddle of old buildings, harbours and historic towers. This is City that has passed between English and French Crowns, been a major independent trading port and a place of safety. The siege 1627 re-established the French Crown, the fortifications were destroyed, saving the three towers given their importance to sea navigation.
The ocean calls and with good weather forecast, we head north-west to Aire St Vincent-sur-Jard next to the coast. We make full use of the beach at low and high tide in the wind.
Thank you for watching – we hope you enjoy it. Tash and Tracey.

Another great blog, we were rather envious of your croissants, they looked amazing according to Malish.

How are you finding the Aires, are you using something like Search For Sites?

“Looking” forward to your next video.

      All the best,
