I appreciate the fact that you spend valuable time making these videos which deal with real cars for real motorists. I cannot imagine company car drivers watching this or even those walking into a dealership and ordering a car that will be delivered in 10 months time at a greater cost than they ever imagined. Amused by the man on bike story / scenario. Especially as I am looking at getting a car ASAP so that I can avoid being the Man on Bike that I currently am! So either I will have to become a man on foot or a bus w""n*er. Either that or cycle to a car dealer and leave my bike somewhere down the road. 😂

Man on bike bought my car but there is more to it. Man makes appointment to view my car, his wife rings saying he will be a bit delayed because he has had a breakdown…. on his bicycle…. Man turns up half an hour late on an 8 year old childs bicycle with a block of wood on the seat to raise seating! Man looks at car, has test drive and buys car placing £500 cash deposit there and then. Happy ever after for all concerned. Never judge a buyer. I know a garage where Man steps off a bus and buys Rover SD1 for £5000 cash there an then

Old man walks into a posh showroom wearing fatigues a rucksack and unkempt beard got told he wasn't getting a free drink and a warm up and was told to leave , I walked to the next dealer who made me feel welcome and was very informative and friendly made a £20k cash sale.
I had similar issues as a younger man rolling up on the forecourt on a motorcycle and being totally ignored as the salesman was too busy trying to sell a car to family man who hadn't two pennies to rub together 🤣
I had old boy turn up for a trial flight. Bicycle clips flat cap and all. And bike…

In 1987, I rode onto a car lot on my pushbike with 1750 quid in my pocket, bought an Astra estate, threw my bike in the back, drove it away. 🙂
A few times i have been unable to get a lift to go and buy a car, so i will get my push bike out and jump on the train.
Back in 2003 I put a 5k deposit on a 360 spider with Ferrari in St Albans . My pal and I flew down to pick it up , and I gave the salesman my switch card for the balance .
The first attempt was declined just after a girl came in and opened the key safe . My mate said “ better memorise that code “ 🙂 The second attempt was declined, and Jim said to the salesman “Any Skoda dealer here ? We might need a cheap runner to get home “ !
By this time the guy had beads of sweat on his forehead ! Eventually got on to my bank manager who authorised it …..changed days indeed 😡
