Are you guys for real? England are awful and not getting any better. They will be in denial until Ireland beat them by 50. They are that bad.
"This is my 25, it's not changing" but also "Pick on form"
English rugby is finished, dead, over, will fall behind likes of italy fiji and Japan soon enough
I loved Tindall in Lovejoy
You summed it well. I would say also we need to get rid of the expectation of beating Ireland. Our goals should be to get our game working, consistency and then building on that core, and then putting back a development plan which allows players to slot in as Eng progress.
Ireland arent 21 pts favs v England. What are they talking about? Bookies have it between 8 and 11pts
Socks and bloody sandals?! Good god.
Question from me is: On how many occasions did England beat the first defender? Then I follow that up with: How many times did England A beat the second and third defender?
Felix Jones was the Bok's attack coach. Why was he brought in for defence?
England to give Ireland their toughest game so far mightn't be as big a statement as it seems at first glance. Remember – Ireland have won by AT LEAST 21 POINTS in all their matches so far!!
Agree about Smith, he won't be entirely match fit. Should be on the bench in lieu of Finn? Bring him on later? Would you bring him on if the game is close?
It is great to a proper rugby discussion not ruined by Haskells smart arse wise cracking interruptions.
Great show but Mr may not really bring back hask bin him no personality monotone …
Get rid of Borthwick for a start!
Thanks Mike Tindall, finally someone who watched the same game as me.
I am Welsh, and for me, England are such a frustrating team. Many talented players, but the coaching and strategy is woeful, and England have been under performing for so many years, it is just a waste of talent.
Wales were similar when Gatland left, we just drifted, and we have nothing like the resources England do, in terms of the number of players, and so on.
It is all about Culture, and if England had approached their philosophy, the way Ireland have, maybe they would be in the same place Ireland are at present, probably the best team in the world.
England and Wales at present, are just not anywhere near Ireland.
Itoje is a very fine player in a very mediocre team, and it seems to me any player with any flair or natural talent, isn't encouraged to use it for England.
May must have wanted to dream at times, with the lack of ball
Overall a great show, guys, and some brillant insights about how it must feel inside the Englad camp. However, is there a reason why you repeatedly (each time, I think, bar one) referred to Immanuel Feyi-Waboso as "Waboso" but Henry Arundell as "Henry"?
England trying to employ Bok defense without the Bok beef. I mean, they may get it right… eventually.
Jonny, come on mate, stop playing with your toes. If you need a pedicure I can hook you up but please just give me 50 minutes of you not playing with your toes. Thanks Mate!!
Borths needs to treat England like a club team, find his favourite players and stick with them through thick and thin. Hate him all you want but there was a reason EJ had his favourites.
This is a massive pile of steaming cope. England were crap and Scotland barely had to get out of 3rd gear. Finn passed up overlaps in own half because he knew kicking back to England guaranteed the win. Why? Easy after 1st try England got worked out and never looked like scoring another unless a Scottish error handed them the chance to do so.
If progress for England = Scotland winning comfortably not playing anywhere near their best? Then I think it is time to question the moon landings.
Will be another 10 years before England can deal with south africa, we are still that weak..fvcking depressing state were in still.
It’s quite simple when you have talents as special as Arundel or Fey-Waboso you play them, you give them confidence to go and express themselves and give them the security that they are a long term vision and build their experience in international rugby.. It is so tiring hearing the same narrative of them being ‘impact players’ off the bench.. Play your best players!! It’s simple..
This would be my backline 9. Care 10. M.Smith 11. Fey-Waboso 12. Dingwall 13. Slade 14. Freeman 15. Furbank
5:50 Noticed Jonny May scissoring the table leg with his toes and can't unsee it
Johnny is great very normal humble bloke brilliant guest !
oh my, why listen to this?
What happened to GRBA? ALL of their videos have been removed apart from shorts. Sad that had to happen as the move on to KOKO. Sad that you gave them a break and couldn't keep them onboard.
Complete agree with Alex. Steve needs to come out and just be honest about it. It's a change and it takes time to find the right solutions. We all know it but until it's said everyone can continue to ask WTF about certain things. Gats has done it and it manages expectations. Eddie didn't do it in AUS, thought he was mightier than the media and it sank him.
