“Child free” is a phrase that populates comment sections on social media, Reddit threads, news articles, and more.

It’s more than a little trendy to at least entertain the idea of forgoing having children altogether.

    But is it biblical?

I sit down with my good friend, Jennifer Flanders from
Flanders Family Home Life (https://www.flandersfamily.info/web/), chat about the biblical implications of a child-free lifestyle.

We also chat all things birth control and what it looks like to live a surrendered life before the Lord—in every area, including, but not limited to, our fertility.

Jennifer is one of my favorite humans on the planet, and I know you’ll appreciate her wisdom!

    1. I have been so thankful for my 5 children. I would have had more if I had been able. My children and grandchildren have been amazingly loving and emotionally helpful after I became a widow. They are amazing people who love God and each other. What a blessing family is.

    2. This has been very encouraging. We spent the first 5 years of our marriage preventing children and now I am 40 trying to make up for lost baby-making time 😂 Baby #5 coming in November!

    3. If all your kids had 10 kids you would have 100 grandkids and that would be awesome lol. I'm definitely encouraging mine to seek God and let him be in control of it. My oldest is only 14 but I hope to instill going to God in every decision of life especially children.
