In a recent poll, it seems that 78% of you have never been to a lift access bike park like Whistler, which is actually pretty unsurprising. Some of these places are not easy to get to, and some of you aren’t even that interested in downhill. Nevertheless, “Whistler” pops up a lot in MTB news as well as YouTube, and most of this content presumes you have certain knowledge about the place.
Some of you may feel that you have “stupid” questions about it, but I feel that no such questions exist.
This video is meant to serve as an introduction to Whistler so that other videos are easier to understand. If this upload isn’t up to normal standards, it’s because I produced it on location.

Me living in a flat hot place called Texas wishing I lived in an area like that. The only mountain area I've ever lived in was in Europe (Germany) for a few years. Man I miss it.
im to scared to do this
whistle 2 would make a great ski resort and bike park my family owned it back in the 40s for $4000 sold for $35000 in the 60s and sold it to ppl that wanted to do this but the government stopped them with help of whistler and that spot has snow almost yr round still no road to the mountain lol
Nice Vid! Stupid question – is all the cycling in Whistler downhill? I'm an X/C guy, and one of the things I love about Kingdom Trails and Pisgah, here in the east, is miles of riding without needing a lift. The more I see of Whistler the more it looks like a downhill-only destination (or is that because that's what grabs all the headlines?)
Dude I appreciate what you and Ryann Dunn do. For someone that was in a bad car accident. To recovering that I can't be on an ebike it's dope seeing downhill tech that I might never see again unless I can afford a space age bike. Past few years have been comforted bye yall and I look forward to more.
Finally all the dorks on huge wheels will learn to have some bike control.
Can a regular say: How's it in the Summer with respect to mosquitos?
The bikes you guys ride makes my old Trek look like a penny farthing
Now I just really wanna go there but it’s a 46 hour road trip for me
Is it a good Idea to ride there if Behring?
it would take me so long to build up the courage to hit those jumps like that.
would you say there is plenty of terrain for a rider of intermediate skill level?
Dumb question but… are you clipped into the pedal or using platform pedal when jumping?
This is a great post. Thanks!
i have a decathlon bike which is a hardtail with no shockers or seat shockers (idk wht we call it) but it has a 80mm suspension , so can we drive it there
I've always wanted to get into mountain biking
It's been a decade since I went there as local. 2013 Red Bull Joyride was awesome! I miss that place a lot!
Ontario is super boring. You're blessed if you can easily reach it.
People truly underestimate Whistler MTB and its beauty!
Why does this sound exactly like Yammie Noob?
?WHYD YOU DO THAT? lmfao
It was such a fun park to ride! I broke my femur there!
is there good trails for beginners??
As global warming fast approaches, it is very likely ski mountains will gradually become places for people to mountain bike, just like Whistler.
I do wonder how rescue works in case of a serious accident in a remote area.
What trail was that tech roller with jordan boostmaster
As an Albertan kid moving to BC who’s pretty familiar but still getting better at MTB Whistler is like the final boss but also clearly the dream
I’ve just been to Morzine😊
What bike is that I really like it? 😄
Cause it’s fucking gnarly lol
What style of bike do you recommend, riding for this kind of place or even Berm peak?!?!?! You say "well he's riding a hardtail"…… is there a specific "all around" bike or whats your opinion??????
If I ever get rich I’m am going to live there😊
I ski and mountain bike but it's along haul to Whistler from Newfoundland. I will make the pilgrimage one day but I will have to find a cat-sitter or pet hotel first .
"Lets see how much air time one can get"
Wanna try going off trail
dude is that really a bear wandering there?
this is an insane video
the one thing i Dont understand is when people dont have the safety bar down. like. you're not "cool" its literally there to save your life
Back when this channel was good😂
i love how that guy yelled yo hoo on the jump
I saw this video when it realized and I always wanted to visit the place I finally could go to Whistler last year
