Well rested we got the um uh optional like mattress topper on our bed cuz last time we came and stayed it was really really hard the mattresses they put on the bed so we got the mattress topper and it’s really good but today I am returning the car

Um I got to go and try and sort out my mobile again we spent hours there last night we tried yesterday we’ve tried today and now we’re going to try again tomorrow oh hopefully we’ll get it order today the only issue is because I don’t have um evidence of my address in France

It’s really hard to set up um a bank account it’s also really hard to set up a mobile phone so there is an orange store which about a 15minute drive from the marina at lell so while I’ve had the car I’ve been going back and forth um to that area

Where they have um a whole heap of other shops as well so today I’m getting ROMs to come and help me we should be able to hopefully get my phone sorted um because my home um SIM card should cancel today uh we set up the starlink last night and that

Games I do like to keep like I’ve pulled to save space I’ve pulled most of our games out of their boxes and just put them in these like Ziploc um bags kids used to use these um for school so I just bought a whole bunch um and at home they were great

Like we can see what’s in there um that works really well for us but I did send some boxes and it looks like the bottom of this box may have got wet at some point and the bottom of this box here is just damaged and you can see like actually

Where all the water was so I’m going to have to throw this one out and transfer it to a bag but the actual board game yeah I think it’ll be all right it’s fine not too bad the other boxes are fine yeah definitely got some water to

It so yeah this is the last I think of the boxes that’s come over we love board games so um there’s heaps in here and that’ll keep us amused Harry and I just played a game of this is one of our favorites at the moment taco cat goat cheese pizza really fun love

It it’s so pretty so I’m trying my best to do some of the boat stuff that needs to be done before James gets here one of them is adding all of our lights and our tethers to our black jackets so these are the ones that inflate themselves which is

Pretty cool so if someone Falls into the water they just open up but they don’t come with the light so I’ve just got to open these and add the light on here just really easy to clip on just like that and then the he so when we’re out sailing these

Attach to the life jacket and then we can attach them to the boat so if you come on board we’ll have these for you that’s it it’s ready to go in the locker we’ve got eight of these self inflatable water activated um life vests and then we’ve also

Got this style of life jacket for when we go on the tender or if we’re doing water sports got 12 life jackets there you go Mom I’m safe 12 life jackets for four people we’ve got to make sure we wear them it is a beautiful rainy afternoon Harry and I have just

Had a lovely snooze and now I’m going to make Harry’s favorite which is spaghetti bnes are you excited about that Harry definitely so I’m on the boat and I think we’ve got our first unusual noise so I don’t know if you can hear it so the water’s only at 5% so

Hopefully it’s just that I haven’t broken anything this is like usually where the water runs out but it’s just not it’s just making that noise see the the machine that says whale on it is kind of running what side are you on I’m on port side more through they’re tapped oh it

Stopped fixed it I have no idea what was wrong but it’s quiet now I ran some water um through the Taps I checked this thing here there was nothing sort of stuck in there I could see the water running through the pipes um the water was running out the boat on the

Outside um then I switched off the tap and everything is fine everything is fine so yeah no idea all good I fixed stuff you know it’s just what I do it’s been a really good opportunity to come to lell with the kids and get them settled and happy I’m slowly

Getting to know the boat while we’re in the marina but we are ready for James to hurry up and get here now off to language school this morning kids and I are racing because we’re late I thought it was a 4minute walk it was a 4-minute drive so we’re about 5 minutes late

Handy handy tool love it so the one thing I was worried about when it comes to sailing was Boat Works so there’s water in the bues so I have used our wet V to remove the water so I managed to get four bucket loads we don’t know what it was everything seems

To be fine down there it’s probably been sat there for a while um so I just keep checking on it make sure it’s okay where the water’s been set for so long there’s been a bit of mold so I have wiped out all of them on the starboard

Side um we’ve also got mold in on one of the bags in the four Peak so I’m going to it’s actually Sunny now but that can change really quickly so I need a really good hot sunny day where I can clean that bag and get it back into the four

Peck um I’m getting more familiar with the boat um and what needs to be done I’ve still got about half a day um to go over the boat um with shy I’m going to go through the engine rooms and the out side lockers so once that’s done I should

Know where everything is and what to do I just don’t love this part of it I really thought that like when you have a holiday on a boat you go and you explore and you have fun this is like maintaining a house but double it

Right I told the kids that I needed to get some footage of the train coming into the station so we were racing down there they were unaware that this was a train that James was coming home on and I couldn’t wait to see him and surprise

Because there must be valve something to turn that on I found it am I right to switch it on yeah show me where it is all right so under here you’ve got the um oven stove and then the barbecues at the back all cool so I have to turn it

On I can smell it now it’s not on yet no I can smell it yeah it is we go is it on mm Go feel it a wind oh it’s going to be really hard to cook on I’ll put the lid down you still look a bit tired

I feel a bit better after that sleep it was a huge trip that last leg gets to I was going to say you don’t have to do it anymore but you will have to go back not me I’m going to stay here yeah that there’s James on the barbecue So sexy when a man cleans and you’re so good at it I’m not s you are so good at cleaning you’re just saying that so you don’t have to do it [Laughter] hey it’s so good to have James home and we’re almost ready now to go next week
