Day 2 of our aimless roll around France. Waking up in the wonderful, sacred, cliff-face village of ‘Rocamadour’, after a testing 525 mile ride. We take a trip to the top of the cliff in search of the legendary Black Madonna, explore the local surroundings and slow down for a day.

Yes Oh Oh [Applause] [Applause] oh [Applause] this is such a beautiful Road this place reminds me of um a bit of Ronda in Spain I suppose cuz it’s all built on the cliff but um Ronda is one of my favorite places but this is up there I almost prefer

This it’s maybe it’s time of year but it’s really quiet but that’s a real little place looking at it from here um there’s a network of like churches or kind of like mini cathedral places of worship there’s like a a maze I think there’s seven temples or

Churches all like kind of um sort of complex interwoven with each other on the side of the cliff one leads into the next into the next but got to be careful around this road cuz um past a huge kind of uh RV or like mobile home coming up here

Last night they were so far over I had about 2T to get through and on this great big fat bike weren’t easy and there’s a lot of um landslides lot of rocks in the road so you don’t want to be racing down here we’ve already passed a few that weren’t here

Yesterday um that have obviously fallen down overnight so definitely a road to be careful on there’s a gnarliest little Bend at the top it’s like a little hair pin it’s absolutely deadly you got to Hope nothing’s coming the other way when you go here so that we’re clear we arrived here last

Night and you can park up the road here but you can’t unless you live here you can’t drive through here so Mark sent me ahead with my France language just going to show you um where we stayed last night we found this hotel De le which we were really lucky cuz I

Don’t actually think there was many hotels open um look just on the right hand side here is the hotel and this is one of the only restaurants I think cuz they’re out of season open it’s really lovely we went here for dinner last night Yeah we did go for a walk last night and um I mean it was a bit later but there was actually nothing open so we’re going to go for a walk this morning and see what we can find but yeah really lovely really really sweet Hotel yeah I just went in there and I was like oh trying to do me little fan language which is not very good and then just OB saved this woman just come out the back and she just spoke in a completely English accent and she was

The owner and she said that she lived out here for 17 years and um I think she just took one look at my face I said I’ve been on the rad since 4:00 in the morning felt really sorry for me and um she upgraded us to a bigger room and

When I said we on a motorbike I said like oh where do we park um Hannah she just said oh I’m just going to go and take my car out the garage and um I’ll go get your husband you can go and park in there just like when does that happen

Just just so so nice so I’m just excited to show you around this town just looks look at this view that I’ve got here not being funny how gorgeous is that we walked down here last night literally we saw one person it was just quite Eerie 600 people live here oh look

Oh oh The Mark B tempted by the knives I’m trying to find a Shoe Shop got a little fire going chimney isn’t this just adorable just can’t believe the sun’s come out just I saw enough run yesterday to laugh we laugh On Foree Foree Chapelle de miracules probably said that wrong don’t want to do this in the summer wow not going to lie though bit out of breath like a million Steps how many people to climb about thousand steps without a bottle of water oh sun’s out He You Wow M Okay Oh

    1. Very nice video and Ramona sounds great on those narrow roads, but your off centre phone/gps mounting is messing with my OCD.. Lol.

    2. Ramona is bringing you both a treasure of memories. Rocamadour: what a fantastic location you have chosen.

Great edit and storytelling, cheers you two.

    3. Loved my Harley but had to go , can only have one road bike , where I go it wasn't for it , 2 belt snaps with stones and a puncture is a nightmare on the back in the middle bfn.

    4. I currently own a 2002 Fatboy all tricked out for the long trips. The more I watch your videos the more I love the RKS. You know how to make a great video. The shots from the bike are awesome as it puts the viewer there with you to share the ride with the sound of the bike, the scenery etc. Your channel should really take off among us riders. ❤❤❤

    5. Hi Mark & Lisa , the village looked stunning along with the morning ride. We have just bought the rear rack and rest for our trip in 7 weeks 3 days not that we are counting .

    6. Lovely town & what a great trip. I notice you like the carhardt jackets.I wore them for years working construction. They really hold up.Love seeing the King on the roads of Europe. I have a 2017 107 rks with some cam work.Keep on traveling. Love the videos, so well done.
