On this Paris Walking tour, we’ll walk from Place de la Concorde, Champs Elysees, Arc de Triomphe, and later head to Avenue Winston Churchill. I hope you enjoy it. And don’t forget to like the video and subscribe to my channel. I’ll appreciate it a lot. This is the largest square in Paris.

It is home to 2 stunning fountains that have been recently renovated ahead of the Olympics and a Luxor Obelisk which was erected back in 1836. Previously, it was an execution site, and it witnessed the beheadings of notable figures during the French Revolution, including King Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette.

At nearly 2 kilometers long (1.2 miles) and 70 meters (230 ft) wide, Champs Elysees is considered one of the most beautiful avenues in Paris. It has several famous fashion brands, including Louis Vuitton, Dior, Galeries Lafayette, Petit Bateau, Cartier, Nike, Zara, Sephora, and many others.

This triumphal arch was built to honor those who fought and died for France during the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars.

It has names of French victories and generals engraved on it. There is also a tomb of an unknown soldier with an eternal flame as a tribute to those who died but were never identified. We now head to Avenue Winston Churchill, which is just off the Champs Elysees.

Although called petit (small), it is not actually small in size. However, in comparison to her “big sister”, the Grand Palais, which is just opposite, it is indeed smaller. It houses the Paris Museum of Fine Arts which is free to visit. This is no doubt the most beautiful bridge in Paris.

It is decorated with golden torches, bronze sculptures, and ornate lamps. This complex is essentially a collection of buildings and courtyards, most of which are dedicated to the French military, including the Army museum. This is also where you’ll find Napoleon’s tomb.
