E Hello and welcome to the mywo Sunday race club with four race starts we’re going to start with our category four riders in three two and one our Riders lined up in yellow that is our category one riders in green our Category 2 in blue Category 3 and category 4 in red G
Degate currently leading the Category 3 group uh they are 1.6 km behind the back of the category 4 race field now she’s going for the Sprint at the moment is the rider pushing on on the climb she is on Amazing form at the moment Katherine fer
7 watts per kilo she’s stamping her in attention on this qualifier today and my question is has she burnt her matches too early or has she left something in her back pocket for the latter stages of this race the category three leading pack are indeed on that final climb now
And uh they’re going to have put a big stretch in and a big kicking because it’s a huge group the group is bigger than this category two groups fuer kinsky and bruny Mina coin and though they’ve dropped Mina coinman on this final climb 7 Seconds to Gap to mina
these three leading riders in the category 4 race have got one kilometer to go the leading riders in the category three race have got two kilometers to go but it’s allowed Perry to come back through ceciliano sylvestro is the rider in three but she’s not fighting it out
With Hyde and Perry the ini line is there the UCI Banner is Hyde it’s Perry it’s Hyde who’s going to take this from [Applause] [Applause] Perry hello and welcome to the myosh Sunday race club it’s the March final you’re here on the women’s race with me Emma Martin Matt Payne will be joining us later in the studio once the men’s race is complete but don’t don’t turn off and turn over to watch the end of
The men’s race you can do that since the women’s race is complete you need to stay here to watch the action because it is going to be phenomenal racing from these women today and one of those reasons is because we’re heading to Australia and to a course we have not
Raced on the Sunday race cup well the women haven’t raced it since since the 5th of November 2023 well can there be fireworks along the way today 35 km of racing 502 MERS of climbing twice up the Woolen gong climb it’s a category 4 climb 2.1 kilm in length it’s only got
4.8% average gradient but as you can see it’s short and it’s steep it goes up the first kicker the gradient kicks at 10% they drop down into the dell and then it kicks again and it kicks to over 177% so it may be short but it is steep
And if you add the climb across the two wool and gong climb ascents together it does not equal half of the climbing today on this course because it is constantly changing the gradient through wolen gong City well from the top of the final Wen gone climb it’s a 6.4 kmet run
Into that Checkered Flag who is going to take the top step today and let’s not forget that team competition is in play as well so our Riders lined up all four categories it’s going to be our category four women who start first today they’re down in the start pen and the teams are
Here today so five teams in total the chill crew the pedal dancers py4 Phoenix and the power watts now pedal dances looking wrong because Perry who was fighting for the win last week she’s had a second third and fourth this month part and parcel of that Squad along with
Sylvestro she’s had two third places putty four though such a strong Squad HDE she’s taken three wins this month smithson’s had a fourth and Francis has had a fifth and uh Power wats they’ve been on the podium as well but it was Phoenix who took the win last month from
The puty for Squad by six minutes 24 seconds Yes you heard that correct so is it going to be a big gap in the team competition or is it going to be close today time will tell our red jersey category 4 Riders are down in the
Pen and they are away on the mywo Sunday race club this is the March 2024 final the women they are up and out of the stop category four the first race field to start and Alvarez leading out with Francis in two navarez in three Connell
Is there as well wanting to set the pace and the intention out of the start pen pulling the pace up in the first to over 40 kilometers and hour and it is julith navarez who is on the front here Helen Connell now picking up the mantle the
Pack rolling and rolling well a nice tight group coming out of that St pen the course the course in wenong very limited amount of flat Terrain in fact this section of course coming through and pass the start pens is the flattest part of the terrain of the entire course
So the riders coming out of the start pen it is flat for well around well I think it’s around one and a half kilometers but we’ll do a double check when we get there uh before they come into the city they come over the water they get onto the bridge they
Sweep around the right hand Bend and then it starts to kick and it really does kick into the City and we’ll see the Riders on the first Ascent of that very very shortly it is part and parcel of the run into the finish so the climb
That they will do over the bridge and up into the city is on the finale of this course today so Nikki Lloyd Geneva OS all in there Vasquez in there too and you can see her on the bottom leftand corner of your screen as well Manuela Vasquez in
The mix she’s in the mix in that group that you can see pushing onto the bridge now the bridge now coming up and over the water and they’re going to take the left hand turn before the right they’re not quite on the climb yet but we can
See with Vasquez the effort going in already to stay with this group as it winds up in towards the city so a lot of working being done there as she work with the group because there’s the climb it’s coming well it’s 1.3 1.4 km I
Wasn’t far wrong but I was indeed out by 100 MERS these Riders don’t want to be out by 100 meters because 100 meters more than 35 kilometers with these two wool and gong climbs no one is going to want to have to ride further than they need to
Today so bogran Grace Palos Saras Lenor Smithson Lloyd Hyde OS all of these Riders fantastic positions this month across the four qualifiers there were indeed four qualifiers and in category for this month 10 different Riders picking up top five positions across those qualifying races two Riders King
Up podiums top spots number one on the step and that’s we could hide well cloudia Hyde she has had three podiums this month all first place phenomenal form she is on at the moment riding for the putty for Squad is she going to do the same St and Lead that team to
Victory we will find out in around an hour and 10 minutes time but we’re in with Smithson her teammate at the moment Liz Smithson in this leading pack and you can see the Damage Done on the bottom left hand corner of the screen to this category 4 group early on that
Climb they’ve now come over the top and they’re on The Descent but one two three three at least three if not four groups now in that category four race so first 2.1 kilometers making a massive impact into that race field our next race field to start will be our blue jersey category
Three races we have 31 sheets today and seven teams so caramela koes the good bike girls the pedal pushers all in here Amy Cliff for Caramelo koalas has had a first spot already this month her teammate Mendoza and serson both on the podium as well ride or die seasoned
Sisters and the wild cats are here too now I’m not sure anyone is going to be able to beat the season sisters today Vin isik Giuliano Hill and Johnson that’s a list of riders who regular Podium coming together but the wild cats have got Litton they’ve got mabin
Montoya zabala and Geraldo so who knows what will happen the team competition in Category 3 Was Won by the season sisters in February will they win it in March out of the start pen are category three Riders go we’re in with Jose zabala at the moment in the mix with the group as
They swing through and out of the start pen and onto the course heading into to Woolen gong this is the Woolen gong course in Australia our women have not raced here and since the beginning of November 2023 well this is the end of March 2024 this is the Sunday race club final
For March this is where the team competition comes into play and Rebecca Johnson well she’s in the mix at the moment have had a great month this month she’s had a second place and a fourth place she’s been on really good form through throughout February and March
This is a sort of course that could suit her well today her climbing leg strong but can she hold it together for the Finish because if the Finish comes down to a Sprint that’s where she’s going to need that extra will Johnson’s day will it be one of her teammates in the season
Sisters the team are very strong regardless so Johnson tightly in the group and it is indeed one big group at the moment in in Category 3 working hard though I do know she’s one of our Riders who can get her heart rate over 200 beats per minute so sitting at 180 well
That’s going in there at the moment but brema Bridget Bremner in the mix here 155 good to see her in the race field today so on the bike she is in the mix here in with teammates Clift serson hide and Mendoza Clift having had first place sonis
Mendoza they were second place team last month they were second place team last month that we’re going to see what happens this month Category 3 swinging now a Bridge onto the bridge and onto the kicker the gradient now start to go up really starting to make a difference now on
This group you can see one of the Riders already stretched off the back as the front really digs in and pushes on it’s novin kakon who is up Montoya and geralde sorry yass is up there too they are motoring up the the front the stretch on the category three group
Behind really telling we starting to see Riders drop off the back here we will start to see whether this does the permanent damage to the group that it did to category four but taking a look down that line of riders I think going to see some of the category three women in
Trouble oh CET three Riders now starting to get split one two three groups on the road can the stretch on this front group can it come all back together as they drop downhill on the other side it’s fast it’s Furious the Riders pushing on herein is in the mix so is
Vin these riders in this front group Yas and toova have made the mix as well and Jackie Giuliano well that’s the front of the category three race the front of the category 4 race we’re seeing an attack now Lenor just a bit of a stretch on the
Group at the moment and we did say we had constant gradient changes throughout this world course and that does lend itself to Riders attacking C constantly under attack Category 3 one big pack category two that in the start pens at the moment and six teams lined up today the free Wheels
The globe trots and the level Maniacs well the Globe Trotters sit with mly Weston she’s a second and a fifth this month Serena vctor has also taken a second place so they are looking they’ve got the Sunday crew up against them though the Velociraptors and wheels on fire Sunday crew Martinez Davidson
Gianatti and Daniel Daniel has had a second third J natti has had a third two fours Davidson a fifth and the Velociraptors well they took the win last month uh in the February final can they do it again today Walen Hurst Montgomery Smithers Kong and macalpine part and parcel of
That Velociraptors Squad in Category 2 will they be the ones on the top Step at the end of this race today they’re out and clear of the start pen we’re in with Julia Montgomery at the moment she’s right up the front with Marcel Smithers but Christen white is in the mix as well
White part and parcel of the level Maniac Squad so the teams in the mix already driving this category to race out of the pen nice and cleanly done Montgomery Kong Yara milillo maau Pine Sanchez Alat all in this group Katherine Montel Hadlock baragan in here too t tight group of riders in Category
2 they are 500 M from the start pen the pace has gone over 40 kilomet an hour already there is category two pack meaning business and ensuring the pace is strong from the start category 2’s Pace rolling nicely as they sweep round they’re going to come up towards the water up and over
The bridge and that first kicker will it do the damage to Category 2 that we’ve seen it do to category three and four well there’s less Riders on the start sheets today in Category 2 in fact this is our smallest race field today 23 riders only in this race field today now
Will that mean we will see the splits we have seen in the category three and category four fields or do we have a tighter racing Bunch today and will they stay together the bunch moving well in fact take a look at that we can drop in with Jenny
Daniel from the Sunday crew she had a second and a third this month so riding and racing really strongly uh which is fabulous to see uh can she ride and race strongly today uh in this category so Category 2 it was Garcia from Smithers last time we were here it was a finish
Time uh on the 5th of November of one hour and six minutes for category 2 but just .1 of a second separating first and second place so a very very competitive race field Jenny Daniel racing from Germany at the moment it’s been a warm day there and she’s looks like she’s
Riding outside at the moment or underneath some outdoor patio covered area but Daniel pushing on Kimberly Miller also with sento the three German Riders riding very very strongly at the front of this Category 2 race field so great to see them pushing on just one Rider it looks like who’s been distanced
From the group on the climb the pack all pushing back together again very very tightly we said it was a small race field but also that there was a lot of strength and depth here in some strong strong Riders Daniel had as you mentioned had had a second and third Walen Hurst two
Fourths and a fifth this is from the Velociraptor Squad Montgomery’s had a third Smith as we know is strong lamb Kong has been racing really well as well uh so two first places for Kong this month and McAlpine a third well to be really honest my question today is in
Category two can anybody beat the Velociraptors it’s going to take some real tactical n to get ahead of that Squad today so lamb Kong completely on form throughout march with two first place sat comfortably in that category two pack in fact we’ve got a pack on category four a pack in category three
As well as that racefield pack in Category 2 category one well they are on the start line at the moment uh 27 Riders on the start sheets in category one and six teams today the uplock international a fetos skia Nordic Spirit a fetos SK Road strongly last month in
February this month columia has had a second and a third Bon’s had a first and a third they could well be a team to beat but the risky biscuits are here with fuer coinman Donnie and behead uh the Swedish Dynamite spasum eming London Man Shandi Four Strong
Riders as well as the ve girls too so who could it be will the Nordic Spirit B with Van HOV angstrom velt and bruny all four of those Riders having top five positions this month the form is obviously there looking for a very strong race today from these category one women on
The myou Sunday race club this is the March final the women head out into Woolen gong on Australia’s course the well well they might be uh kangaroo hunting whil they’re out there but they are trophy hunting not just as individuals today but also as teammates will the Nordic Spirit reain Supreme can
The risky biscuits do it or will a feto skier be right up on the top spot I’ve got a big question and can the a block International Squad of gagos bfor hermansson HC and Larson get into the mix here I for one am serious ly looking forward to this category On’s women’s
Race we’re in with the aito skia squad columia bason Giovani and cman it’s a strong strong Squad and they took the win last month in February by 16 seconds from the risky biscuits and when you bear in mind it’s the team’s top three Riders times that are added together to
Give the team competition a 16c win over the risky biscuits was a great tactical race and it was fantastic to see AO skia take the top spot in February will they take the top spot in March will abblock International will Nordic spirit all the risky biscuits have anything to say about it can
Swedish Dynamite or ve girls pull something out of the bag who knows they’re racing on Easter suay we’ve got a time switch because it is Ramadan as well it’s all in the mix it’s all in the bag and Amelia velt well she is the first Rider to kick down on those pedals
She’s coming on on the run in to the climb and she’s adamant she wants to split the group early now there are a large number of women in this race field across category 4 3 2 and one who will not have raced on this course before because they have joined the Sunday race
Club post the 5th of November it’s a very difficult race course the steepness of the climbing really takes it out of our Riders but the strength and depth of this category One race field the world cost quality of our Riders really makes it difficult as well now we can see on
The left hand side of your screen are category one Riders just heading up into the city on the first climb in the stretch coming on the right hand side of your screen are category four Riders well they are on the first part of the ascent of the Woolen gone climb that
Starts at 9.7 kilometers into this race doesn’t look like our category one pack have dropped any Riders on that first small kicker unlike the other three race fields now this category four racefield they’ve come on to the W and gone climb this is the first kicker and
You can see on the top right hand hand corner of your screen you can see the profile of this climb beautifully so the yellow line indicates where the front of our race field is just coming towards the top of the first segment of the climb now currently just shy of just
What just over 9% the gradient under the wheels bogran is here Silvestro is here Hyde is in the mix so is Perry Smithson OS navarez is here Paulo is in eighth position they are about to go up and over the top and then they will drop down into the Dell on the
Other side before they kick up again on to the second part of the climb and you can see the second part of the climb there on that top right hand corner uh and you can really see how that when they go over the first part then there’s
A rolling kick it it upwards before they begin the main descent down stretch on that category 4 group really long as it snakes its way up The Climb they are not there by a long shot our category one Riders 2.8 km into this race they were our last category to
Start our category four Riders started first then five minutes later category three five minutes after that category 2 and then 15 minutes after our category 4 Riders started their race our category One race was underway so 15 minutes behind the ride who are still currently the leaders on the road at the moment
Are category one pack rolling strongly Bon Hermanson coin and London Gonzalez ruer cman srom Manuela Donnie all in the mix here ryers here sidick in here too great to see Stephanie sidick in here as well category three you can see on the bottom left hand corner of your screen
Not far off the back of the category 4 field but that is the start of the will and gone climb the polka dot Banner signifying the start and the end of our climbing sections so underneath that polka dot Banner underneath the start of the wool and gone climb the gradient
Gentle at the moment but we know it will become very very steep so the group of Category 3 Riders already split in two as you can see on the screen uh so Johnson mabin Warren y Clift Litton Hill all in this front group so strong riding
Here uh zabala is here as well as Vin idik is here too so good group selection here we’re starting to see this group and it’s still a big group at the front but they are starting to drop one or two Riders on the climb we’ve got one Rider
Here pushing back into the group I think she well I did think she was going to make it but as she was just making contact with the group the gradient went skywards and really started to kick so 99.7% at the moment this is the Steep section of this first kicker Francisco D
Silva idzik zabala Hill Vin Litton Warren all able to stay in this leading group of category three Riders they’re now working their way through the back markers on the category 4 race field the front of the category 4 race field they are one kilometer up the climb ahead of
The Category 3 leaders it’s still that long snake of red Riders you can see on the bottom left of that split screen but Hyde Perry Silvestro and ellos four Riders clear at the front we’ve got a gap of about s seconds back to Smithson there on the
Climb needing to stay in contention up and over that steep section it hurts but you have to dig well digging as well here through the rolling cityscape are our category one Riders Hermanson leading the charge at the moment pushing on Larson bruny coinman all towards the front of the group but Hermanson riding
Really strongly these shorter climbs that are punchier really seem to suit Lisa Hermanson uh we see her do really well in Belgium very similar type of steep short climbing rather than the long long 10 km efforts we may see elsewhere now let’s remember when we get to the top of the wool and
Gong climb the second time it’s a 6.4 kilometer run to the finish line and we regularly see Sprints coming through there now the abblock international G Legos Hermanson on our screen last time category one raced here Katherine fer took the win in an 1 hour and one minute
But it was only a 4 second Gap at the top to Seline columi who finished on that second step on that effort so it’s going to be interesting to see I think we could well see a Sprint finish from our category one riders today the Riders
We have in here at the moment are on phenomenal form now they’ve gone underneath one green Banner they’re about to come under the second signifying the start and the finish of the Sprints the two sprints today uh both the city be I put my teeth in both
The city beach Sprint because we it’s a lapped course today so the first time through the city beach Sprint Kirsten White from the level Maniacs takes top spot fastest time through that Sprint section 24 seconds 24.4 35 is3 of a second in front of the category one pack
Who come motoring through there so bruny lson kasani prao Manuela velt and Bon then Tanya hella the category two Rider rounding out the top nine angstrom London cman gagos and Gonzalez ruer Hanson bead that really is the rest of the category one pack all together as we go through there brema setting the
Fastest time in Category 3 and I’m just scrolling back through the results it’s clar Garcia from the chill crew who sets the fastest time through there in category four all four of our categories through that first Sprint section now this is the leading group in the category 4 race
And Smithson has closed the Gap since we saw last phenomenal effort from Liz Smith and now I did really have a great time the other day because I did jump onto the myou training programs and I did do one of the coach L workouts with
Li Smith and I have to say if you haven’t done it do jump on it’s obviously working for Smith and it was working for me because I had a great time when that training session the time went so fast I couldn’t quite believe it but Smithson at the moment hide in two
Perry is there with ellos and sylvestro four five Riders leading the charge now in this category four race 11 seconds back to bogran she’s got narez for company category four on The Descent from the first Ascent of the Willing gone climb category two on the left hand
Side of your screen they are heading upwards for the first time coming towards the steeper section of the first part of the climb at 10.2 km at 11.4 km the leading group in the category 3 race well they are coming towards the top of the main Ascent of the wool and gong
Climb a category One race they are not there yet after dropping in with all four of our race categories I think it’s probably about time we took a look at what they are racing for and the prize money that is available today to both our individuals and our teams so
Category for the prize money today in the monthly final in the individual classification 2,100 6 AED for our winner today 1,728 for second place down and through to 432 AED for fifth it’s not just the fifth top individual Riders taking prizes today the top five teams do as
Well in the teams classification in Category 3 you can see 18,000 AED for first down to 1,800 for fifth in the teams 3,600 AED available for first placed individual in Category 3 as well now just a reminder all of our prizes are equal so the money you are seeing in
Front of you today for the prizes in the women’s race exactly the same as you will see in the men’s race category two in the individual classification it ramps up because first prize 6,000 AED second 4,800 down to 1,200 for fifth in the teams competition 30,000 AED for the
First place team through to 3,000 AED for fifth place now if you thought that was a lot category one they are world class and this is world class prize money so in the individual classification first place 10,000 AED today 8,000 for second 6,000 for third 4,000 for fourth and
2,000 for fifth in the teams classification it’s a huge 50,000 AED for first place team 30,000 for second down to 5,000 AED for the fifth place team today so in that team competition as we said earlier the top three Riders times are added together to give the overalls in the team competition and
It’s that what determines who finishes first second third fourth or fifth category 1 now at 9.2 km Category 2 11 .2k Category 3 12.5 and category 4 our first Riders off on the road today 14.8 km into this 35 km race at 9.4 km are category one
Racefield they are just about to come through and on to the wool and gone climb for the first time coming twice today in this race the first time at 9.7 km the second time at 26. three so this is going to be the first Ascent of the
Climb and we have not seen a break in this group yet so the pack of category one leaders head under the polka dot Banner signifying the start of the wool and gong climb the only way is up what is going to happen will they stay together this time or will we see an
Attack from fuer Fu was the first Rider to attack on that early climbs in Belgium last week for the final qualifier will she go early again today or will she leave it till that second climb of the Woolen gong climb at 26.3 kilm well the stretch coming onto the group I’m also wondering
Whether anybody will take the attack to her because we’ve got some phenomenal climbers in here and some great races bfor is here HOV Gus Hermanson Bon sidick is in the mix today Velton bruny and then obviously fuer has her own teammates and Donnie and behead no slouches either but Cornelia angstrom is
The rider we can see at the moment the Nordic Spirit Rider pushing on at the front of this group really hanging on and in the mix there as the stretch starts to come on this race field so sidick eming bead Lon ggos angstrom London all in the mix here in this pack
As the pack gets St towards the front of the group World Catherine f is there so is Donnie so is coinin those are the risky biscuits Hermanson now I said this was hermanson’s type of course sidick now just one second back but can these Riders push over the top here and split
This pack or are we going to see this group come together it’s one long line at the moment as the leaders go through and over the top of the first section of clim 1 2 3 4 five six seven eight Riders it’s looking like clear at the front of
The category One race now will they stay clear or will those racing behind use the momentum it’s angstrom on the front of the chase group at the moment the momentum on The Descent here and then into the second part of the climb really does speed up the Riders as
They push through columi managing that effort as she comes in in here behind hermansson so colia riding strongly at the moment for AO skia the team that took the top spot on the February final columi Hermanson bone Kingston all at the front of this pack and take a look
At the shot you can see down the mountain side you can see what has happened to our Riders it’s so steep now 16% under their wheels at the moment they’re on the second part of the wool and gone Club columi leading the charge up the climb
And you can see the effort on her face UH 60 revolutions per minute at the moment she’s putting out a huge amount of power a little bit higher just around the 70 Mark uh the gradient so strong here but bruny Bon columi fuer and Hanson are the riders in this
Leading group at the moment Kiara Donnie about 8 seconds back uh she is of course Fu’s teammate on the risky biscuit Squad hold Croft is behind Donnie hold Croft in the mix for the a block international team so once we go up and over the top
Here we can take a real good check as to who’s made the selection and who hasn’t but Amelia velt is one of the Riders here chasing hard she can see that leading group ahead of her can she make the catch now we saw Liz Smithson in
Category 4 Clos down a 7c gap on this climb uh to make the junction to the leading group in the category four race can any of our category one Riders do the same Bon bruny fuer quinon and be really strong in the mix here these Riders moving towards the
Front of the group it’s looking like Lisa Hanson is the rider who has not made the Gap to this group so she’s just off the back of the group now so hermansson off the back of the group by 15 seconds Katherine fuer pushing on at the front of the group she’s nearly at
The top of the climb and she wants to ensure that she keeps the Gap back and she’s going to take a group of one two three four five Riders over the top with her they’ve dropped the three riders that came into the second part of the
Climb with them and now just the five Riders so fur and kisen from the risky biscuits columia and Bon from a fetos skia bruny from Nordic Spirit that’s the polka dot Banner signifying the top of the climbing segment it’s not quite the top of the climb because they do roll
Down and it does kick again but it is a Fast and Furious descent this as the Riders go up and over the top now her Manson 12 seconds back she does have riders for company and that is going to be really interesting so currently these are live results on the
Wool and gong climb Katherine F setting the fastest time from the risky biscuits Squad five minutes 10 seconds going up there Mina and her teammate in two 5 minutes 12 bruny from the Nordic Spirit 512 columi 513 from mfo skia with her teammate Bon 24 seconds is what Hermanson has dropped on that
Climb fastest Riders up the climb in category two Julia Walen Hurst and Serena vtori in category three it was Brittany Lon and Amy Clift in category 4 Liz Smiths and set the fastest time closing down that Gap uh Geneva G alos um OS taking the second from there so
Constantly R evolving times coming through as our Riders uh cross the climb segment the results are live at the moment on the my woso website you can follow this race closely and you can follow each of the four categories and see what is going on in each of those
Four races Category 2 at the moment coming up for 16 kilometers into this race they are transitioning at the moment between the two wool and gong climbs the next Sprint segment the city beach Sprint for the second time comes at 22.1 kilm they’re around 6 kilometers off of that at the moment but
The group is strong so we have one two three four five Riders we have Daniels we have five riders in the leading group at the moment so this is the chase group I’m taking a little bit of a look at there to see who
Was in that but what we can see is the category three leaders now working their way continually through the category 4 race so we have Emily mabin Brittany Litton Ella Vin and Amy Clift Francisco D Silva is there as well but they are catching these riders in the category 4
Race they are catching Len they are catching Saras these riders in 11th and 12th Place in the category 4 race at the moment they have Riders down the road still the leaders are further down the road now if these category four Riders can jump onto the back wheel of these
Category three Riders and stay there they will get a toe back down the road but currently at the moment Vin and Litton mabin and Clift these are the riders in category three at the front of the race field at the front of the category 4 race field they are 1 and a
Half kilometers away from the front of the category three race field Smithson Perry Hyde Silvestro four Riders clear OS and borran and narvarez are 35 seconds back so four Riders clear here in category 4 but it’s not a huge gap it’s fluctuating between 20 and 30 seconds at the moment
Uh because of the terrain that they’re on and that chase group in category four will be racing for fifth spot there’s one more Podium spot there they’ll also be racing for the team competition so the Riders now Hyde and Smithson OS there as well so those category four Riders pushing on and
Pushing strongly but it’s looking like the putty four Squad are in a strong position now in a strong position in this category One race Seline columi Merl bruny cine fur and Mina coinin four Riders pushing on really pushing hard here as they come up round this fly over
They sweep round on the flyover it’s bason who seems to have been dropped here from the group so Roberta Bon is the rider from feto skia who has been dropped from the group at the moment so we’ve got in this leading group Selena columia from the feto square Squad mer
Bruny from Nordic Spirit Katherine fuer from the risky biscuits Mina Coen also from the risky biscuits as well well Bon 19 seconds back she’s now with the chase group and that chase group is a strong Chase group because velt is there bony is there Hermanson is there Vince a
Strong strong Chase group 19 seconds back so is the chase group work really hard Kiara Donnie is also in the chase group so is Maria holdcroft so really really interesting to see uh these Riders working in the back of this group and working strongly will they bring able to bring this back
Together only time is going to tell whether they bring it back together or not is not important but the time gaps are and that really is now what our category one Riders have got to watch out for uh who is in the front group and where the rest of their teammates are
Now our teams will be communicating with each other during the race whether that’s on a Discord type chat function where you can speak to each other or whether it’s on some form of message platform different Riders like different platforms to do these things but at the moment it’s still sticking at around
16 17 seconds at the moment for the Chasers here in this category One race 17 seconds is equaling around 180 M uh they’re on the flat section here before they run back into the city for the second time now we said it was loops and the flattest section was coming past
The start pens and that is where our category one Riders are our category three Riders the front of the Category 3 pack have now got the top 10 in sight they’ve got the two category four riders in ninth and 10th position but it’s Litton Vin Cliff the Sila all in this mix with
Mabin the leaders in the category three race there in the blue jerseys picking up markers in the category 4 race field now can they hang in this is Nikki Lloyd and Simone France both strong Riders uh Lloyd and Francis both riding for the puty for Squad will want to head as far
Up this race field as possible the question is can they dig in will they be allowed to dig in or will the category three Riders push on regardless because the Silva is pushing on the Silva is working really hard at the moment the ride or die Rider in this category three
Race well it’s elink from season sisters who gives Chase Britney Litton is in here as well from the wild cats Amy Clift is in the mix to uh Cliff from the Caramelo koalas so interesting to see the range of riders in the mix here at the moment at the front of this Category
3 race category three working really strongly in fact it’s the wild cats who indeed have two riders in the front of this chasing group Lon and mabin from the wild cats both of them had phenomenal rides this month already Lon taking a first and a third and mabins taking a
Second place uh really strong riding now that obviously puts the wild cats in the hot seat here for the team competition but both of those Riders have got to get to the Finish Line together in this front race field so Category 3 leaders pushing on at the moment it is not going
To be long until they start to think about the Second Ascent of the Woolen gong climb at the front of the category One race they heading now into the city columi F and bruny all together the chase group though seems to be working very well they’ve bought it down from
From 19 seconds to 11 so I can see the chase group with velt with Hermanson with Donnie in the mix here these Riders one two three for five Chase Riders hul Croft is there this Chase group really working hard now trying to bring back the lead group of
Four so we’ve got a lead group of four in this category One race coinman fer bruny and columi and a Chase group of five Riders they are 11 seconds back all heating up now in this category One race uh can they make the fireworks happen today are they going to win the
Race who is going to push on as they fly past the kangaroo fer columia Hermanson 14 seconds back now it’s fluctuating as the Riders push on four Riders leading now in this category One race continuing to push and the fluctuation from the front group to the chase group behind of

To where the women are racing today so in the Australia Woolen gong City Loop uh we have got two ascents of the wool and gong climb all of the race categories have gone up and over the climb the first time and are now heading into to the Second Ascent of that W and
Gone climb so 2.1 kilometers of climbing 4.8 average percent wise that is so deceptive however because the first part of the climb kicks to over 10% the second part 16 177% under our ride as well it has forced race selection the first Ascent of the wool and gong climb
Match we’ve got a lot happening across our race fields today I think it’s going to be decisive that second climb but perhaps a Sprint finish would be fun in at least one of the race field categories you be careful what you wish for it’s great to be in uh here once
Again for the women’s racing here on the myw Sunday race club I’ve just come from an absolutely Frantic Finish on the Y her feet in all of our categories and absolutely brutal racing and a real mix of results in how the race was won from different Riders going solo people
Attacking early attacking late people’s legs just locking up on the climbs so a real mix across the categories they’re not necessarily very predictable and some really interesting team results some of the big teams that we would expect to Wi winning other big teams maybe not having a great day at the
Office in all of the categories now Emma we’ve got four categories in the women’s as we have with the men we’ve got some great teams some great Riders category one Riders we’ve got on our field at the on our screen at the moment that is a pretty small group well
Let me tell you something Matt because columi bruny fuer and coinin have been away now for some time they’ve been away since the wol and gone climb the group behind a chasing group of five had with 20 seconds back they’re not 20 seconds back anymore they are
Eight seconds back now so they’ve been been closing that gap down and it’s really interesting to see so I’m looking now to see whether the chase group of five Riders is going to come back and catch the group of four at the front well very quickly we’re switching over
To category three because Category 3 are working strongly here uh we’re in with Konan at the moment uh but on the back and hanging in with some category 2 Riders so kakan at the moment in with that group and I don’t think she’s the only Rider there is she from Category 3
Because I I think I can see Warren just in front and uh we’ve got a few people are out and around category two riders that they are mixed in with here on M well it’s a big pack but this is not our leaders in category three is it no this
Is our leaders in category two this is wener sento Kong victori so this is the leaders in category two catching kakan at Al from category three so the category 2 leaders on the road at the moment lamb Kong Linda sento Serena victori uh are in the mix here with a
Couple of category three Riders Walen Hurst is in there too so fast fast Riders at the front of that category 2 race field the leaders in the category three race field though have been progressing and progressing strongly now at 25.8 kilm into this race they’re working their way through the category 4
Race field just eight Riders now in category 4 still ahead of them it’s Vin mabin Clift Litton D Silva so five riders in category three in this leading group two from the wild cats one from ride or die one from the Caramelo wow quas and one from season
Sisters so the team competition really wide open there although there are two riders in the front there it depends on what Riders two and three in most of the other teams and their third Rider does there as well so category one this is looking it looks to me like that group
Has come together so that is no longer for Riders even my uh very poor mass as everybody who’s been with us for the last couple of years knows it is definitely more than four in fact I’m just taking a quick look as they go underneath typical that we join them
Just where there’s a load of yellow lights right over the top of the yellow eight I think that’s eight Riders I’m not going to disagree with you one two three four five six seven eight nine nine Riders so the whole group of five have made the juncture to the leading
Group of four so a real class group here and remember because we don’t finish on the climb here do we uh here on wallon we go round to that Finish Line further round the circuit and that means that breaking away on the climb is not necessarily a race winning move move but
It can be if you get a big enough time Gap who how are this group going to play this because we’ve got some really strong climers who maybe I mean we got some returning names as well well and this is interesting isn’t it because some of these Riders haven’t raced here
Before because they’ve joined us Post November uh it’s a 6.4 kilometer run in from the top of the climb to the finish line and what we’ve just seen is a group of five Riders closed down a 20 plus second Gap yeah for a group of four who
Went over the top of the climb solar separate yep in the front so you they’ve just proved you can close down a gap though obviously the front group were not racing for the line they were you know only what 11 kilometers into the race when they came off of that descent
But we’ve now gone from a group of four to a group of nine Riders leading the race and they are now at 23.7 kilometers they are around 2 and a half kilometers from the next Ascent of the wool and gone climb so when this group was split
Before we have four Riders In Front what was the time gap between them and the Riders behind to start with around 27 seconds and they pulled that down to eight seconds by where the previous where the Finish Line would be this time around so they’ve got to not lose 20
Seconds they can only afford to maybe lose 10 seconds going over the top if everything were to be equal which of course it isn’t because we’ve got extra racing under the wheels and of course you’ve got that thing that mental thing I think if you’ve been dropped once you
Could be dropped again but you can’t also you can’t assume that what happened at the beginning of this race is what’s going to happen at the end of it because the team competition you know you go that extra mile you go that you push that little bit deeper you know the team
Competition really does make a difference now what has made a difference take a look at that they haven’t just joined and settled they are now pushing on at the front and it’s the Riders who have pushed and made the juncture that are doing the pushing on so fuer and coand Hermanson is there
Columi Bon Velton bruny all in the mix here you know picking up hiler one of the category two Riders she’s going to be Keen to stay in this fast moving Bunch as long as possible well you’ve got to you could to be to win it and uh
If you H hop on with a category one train coming through it gives you a chance but we’re not far of coming into the climb for the second time here the two-part climb of Wallen gong and is so decisive isn’t it I always think that when you get dropped on this climb on
The first part you know you’re in trouble but you’ve got a chance of getting back but then the start of the second part of the climb is so steep that really if you can’t stay on the first spot you’re not going to stay on that bit well let me just put you in
Your place because in category four Liz Smithson got dropped on the first part of the climb okay and went into the second part of the climb 7 seconds behind the leaders right she went over the top first and got the polka dot skin suit wow so she went in that is that is
Some riding but that is that is incredible to have that change over on the word on the way in through I I always think you’re really really toss off now robera that a rinder that we know can climb incredibly well I’m loving the support in the room with her
Though well yeah always you you got to have um I I think for me it’s one of the things that we don’t necessarily necessarily see a lot of and something that may yet develop is that role of DS Mentor extra pair of eyes to watch for attacks for race for race information
It’s one of those things that we see and I’m really looking forward to seeing when we go to the world championships in October because of course my wish being the UCI Esports partner for the next three years 2024 25 and 26 I expect to see people when we’re in
That live final with their DS with their Mentor with their coach there to actually give him that extra information I’m really looking forward to seeing that setup and how that plays out and who’s got that great support because having that is going to really really

A couple of category three back markers in fact that’s Bridget Bremner there she’s just gone past Kinston and her teammate not wanting to go with it because she doesn’t want to tow the rest of the Riders up to F’s wheel so teamwork at play here can coin and sit
On this pack and let fuer go it’s going to be all in for these category one Riders it’s all in for the category four Riders on the right hand side your screen they’re up and over and onto The Descent how long can they stay clear of
Category three well coin is now back up on the wheel of fuer she picks up the mantle as she goes over the top of her teammate so they running that momentum dropping down and moving up through m co and on the attack now really picks up
The base colum’s gone through with a f now digging in the red trying to stay with them they’re going to come back together here and I was laughing when you saying cu stay clear I’ve just looked to the left hand side of the left hand screen just seeing this chain of
Riders going over and up to the top as the category four leaders go over the top the category three leaders are not far behind the category two aren’t far behind them and category one are on the second part of the final climb this could all come back together we could
See all four race categories coming into the finish at the same time but as we look at the category one here what a move here a colia we I wonder how much mer bruny wants this Victory how much does she want it has mer bruny won a Sunday race club before
That you can remember I don’t think she’s won before she’s been right up in what which which race did she she she has she has she won on the Outer Loop in Australia in qualifier number three so mil bruny really really close that shows you how bad my memory is today it’s been
A busy busy day believe me m Brody on the climb here but the outer loop is a very similar in some ways it’s one big climb but then a run to the finish this is a smaller climb and then a run to the finish and the outer loop is usually a
Sprint finish so she did also win on the Y Ace I know but she’s not but yeah when you look at the the the number of times that we’ve seen kathern F take away we’ve seen Seline columia be up there they’re probably the two big names of
This leading group but you can’t ever discount M Coan or mil Bry I am literally sitting on the fence here with because because different courses do suit different Riders and we were talking before you joined us Matt about how this course and the likes of Belgium for example really suits Lisa Hermanson
Yes she she rides much better on the shorter steeper climbs than she does on the 10 kilometer climbs yeah and she’s much more I’m with you Lisa every time but at the moment what we’re looking at are the results for the second time up the wool and gong climb and Catherine F
Sets the fastest time again with 5 minutes 11 seconds at 512 it’s bruny Kyon 5113 columi 513 what I can see there is two Riders from the risky biscuits in that top five Bon now coming through making it her the second AO skier Rider with her teammate columi but
Look at that uh Wen Hurst setting the fastest time in category two as all of a sudden velt Donnie and hold Croft have come through as well 28 seconds back bason 38 seconds back velt and Donnie 42 seconds back to hul Croft so that is phenomenal riding so we’ve got 28 38 in
About 42 it really has made a massive massive difference going up onto that climb and what for me is really key there is we’ve got a bigger group in front now than we have a group of Chasers because the chasing group is fractured and there are big gaps in
Between that chasing group whereas before you know you got five Riders versus four that’s that’s a much more Level Playing Field uh if not the advantage with the Chasers now we have got four Riders clear who have shown that they’ve got the legs and the speed
They now just need to make this count in The Descent and not I was going to use the word mess about but not finesse not do too much a little bit of playing about not too much saving energy because they still can’t afford to relax too
Much it’s not like they’ve got a gap of five minutes over the top it’s still seconds and they’ve got to make that count now going back to our category three and four whil St was just doing some quick working out of who is where for the team competition category three left hand
Side of your screen category four right hand side of your screen at the moment looks like Georgina Perry just got that Gap over sylvestri uh but they turn around change places you got Clift and L not all that far behind who are chasing Britney Litton on the left of your
Screen he going to be closing in on these Riders so at the moment sylvestro and Perry leading here comes the Riders behind this is the group it’s 36 seconds from these Riders to our race leaders at the moment on the road but in here Claudia Hyde and Li SMI so if they can
Make the most of this group and it’s a big pack they could start to pull them back but time is running out 322 km covered at the moment for the Chasers and the Riders In Front are about 300 M and they have got about 2 and a half kilometers left this is going
To be almost Pursuit style to the Finish category four leaders Duo away currently the time Gap coming down with a big chasing group that contains not only our Category 3 leaders but also the Chasers in category four then cross with Category 2 right is on your screen at
The moment you can see that we’ve got Kong we’ve got walking Hur we’ve got victori in here we also have in this mix elink in here from Category 3 right in the mix in fact so just in front of those chasing Riders they’re coming up behind so Vin could be catching a lift
Here as well this group of category two Riders vtori who we know can climb we got Lan Kong who is good basically everywhere H and then you’ve got Walken Hurst who could well be the favorite for this because she’s so strong it is a really interesting thing Kong has taken
Two first this month Walen Hurst had two F in a fifth so Walen Hurst is riding really really strongly here victori she’s had a second place as well so they are all strong Riders sento she’s now 12 seconds back she was with this group for
Some time you know uh no no longer able to stay with the pace they are indeed going to be picking up rers I think elink is going to be able to stay with this group the pace they’re moving at at the moment and she’s a rider who could
Kick on when it comes into the Finish as well this is going to be really interesting so all four categories on your screen one two three and four top left top right bottom left and bottom right and the gaps are minimal between them at the moment category 4 are still
Our leaders on the road they’ve just hit 34 kilm they are still about 350 m in front of the chasing Group which is category three leaders and the category four Chasers who are trying to come back then Category 2 are still motoring but I think this could be the closest battle
Because there’s more Riders chasing than there are leading well Perry and sestro both from the pedal dancers these two are teammates in the lead of the category 4 race will they tie up the team competition it’s all about their third counter but Perry and sylvestro are putting in a really strong ride here
Ahead of the petty four Squad uh it Hyde and Smithson those are the two Riders back down the road in third and fourth place at the moment as Perry starts to kick she wants this she really wants she doesn’t want the category three Riders to bring up Hyden Smithson there’re 30
Seconds clear at the moment so Perry opens up the Sprint it’s 400 m to go she’s got the climb to go does it look like her teammate is going to contest it sylvestro is going to want to finish in second place and she’s going to push to
Confirm that but I think Georgia Perry is going to want to take the win so with 300 meters to go Perry pushes on in this category four race her and her teammate from the pedal dancer Silvestro went Perry’s going to take the win though coming across the line in
First today her teammate Silvestro is going to come through in two for the pedal dancers in category four the race however is on behind in category three so Perry comes through she comes up and over the line that UCI Banner signifying the finish of the race so
Perry Over The Line in one as we start to watch the run in for the Line This is Litton this is Clift mabin has come through as well as the Riders push on so Lon Clift Lon Lon is going to take this Cliff’s not going to catch her even
Though she tried mbin in three the Sila in four what a finish there very very fast finish Category 2 on the way in here this is the Run for the line the gantri is inside well lamb Kong is the rider in front on this Category 2 race Walen
Hurst is kicking behind Victoria is coming over the top of Wen Hurst can she come on to Kong will Kong Kong takes the win in category two victori and Walen Hurst coming through in second and third well that’s category four category three category two over the line category one
Well they’ve got 700 meters to go so here we go this is the category one leading group bruny in here moving up holding position not wanting to let any gaps go they’re mixed in with other Riders Furious the rider in the polka dot skin suit holding position in here
Over the top of it goes kin so T sorry K goes over the top Min Co on the way through will Mina be able to take this she’s got the lead at the moment she’s a solo Rider in yellow on this climb and it looks like CL is doing damage but f
Is coming on a shoulder So Co and F neck and neck again two teammates it’s the risky biscuits pushing on here so F continues to push she comes under the marker she can see the banner ahead she’s kicking at 11 wats per kilos she wants to be sure she’s clear here she
Wants the win for herself but she also wants the win for the risky biscuits her teammate on her wheel two seconds clear it’s fer it’s coincon one and two over the line today so fer and coin come over the line one and two for the risky biscuits in category one the riders in
Third place it is Seline coli M bruny takes fourth spot in category one Maria hold Croft what a ride from hold coft today for the abblock international she’s going to be their first Rider in she’s going to take fifth place today she’s clear of Kiara Donnie who’s going
To be the third counter for the risky biscuit Squad and Amelia velt is there with her too but Maria holcroft taking fifth place today in category one some amazing prizes up for grabs and of course some amazing RS to see what match those hul Croft bruny colomi and F
