    Pen y Fan Mountain Range and Cam Llwch Lake
    (Glacier lake underneath Pen Y Fan)

    Park at the bottom of the valley and take the steep climb towards the summit, stop at the lake on route and circle the ridgeway atop the mountain range. Should take approximately 4 hours.

    The Farmyard Campsite
    Blaenau Farm, Llanddeusant, Llangadog SA19 9UN

    Basic, non-touristy camp site, with a sheltered out-houses for dining and fire pits. Cold shower but adequate bathrooms. The location is second to none as it’s within easy walking distance to the next days hike. Camping is £10 PP PN

    DAY 3

    Iconic glacier lake at the foot of the Carmarthen Fans. Follow signs from the campsite, it’s a steady 45 minute climb up a gravelled track from the car park. You can hike up and around the glacier and have lunch above the lake for some outrageous views.

    Llyn Idwal

    3 hour hike up-to devils kitchen

    Start from LL57 3LZ Ogwen Lake and take the path up to and around Llyn Ogwen before climbing up to the Devil’s Kitchen. Continue to first summit, Glyder Fawr. From there walk across to Castell Y Gwynt, then on to the final summit of the day, Glyder Fach. Our descent we’ll pass the famous cantilever stone for an amazing photo opportunity before working our way down to Bwlch Tryfan and Llyn Bochlwyd

    Day 4

    Pen-y-Pass

    Hike up to the Summit of Snowdon (Wyddfa) via the Miners track, we will then hike down from the summit along the Llanberis path back to the village of Llanberis.

    Cwm Pennant (Llanfihangel-y-pennant) lake swim
    Cwm Pennant is a clear lagoon at the head of one of the most remote valleys in the region. From Penmorfa follow the signs to Cwm Pennant via Woolen Mill and continue for around four miles to a car park. From here, you should spot a waymarked path – this takes you up 300m to a ruined mine manager’s house and alongside an old railway. Just past the ruined watermill factory, you will spot a stream valley which takes you down to the old reservoir. The route will take up a whole day.

    Day 7

    Park in Stansbury

    Walk to howarth (35 minutes)

    Take the trail to the Bronte Waterfall and on over the Bronte Bridge (atop the Withens, a favourite walk of the Bronte sisters) start on Haworth Main Street, walk 50m to waterfall.

    40m walk to pub.

    Dinner at Wuthering Heights Pub
