Maddie’s dream guy is days away from marrying her best friend when she makes a wish on an ancient stone in Ireland — and wakes up as his bride-to-be.

-What brings you to Ireland? -A wedding. -Oh, congratulations. -Oh no, it’s not mine. It’s my friend’s. I can’t believe Paul and Emma are getting married. You balance me out, Madeline. -We do make a great team. -We do. Hi, Mom. I can’t help but think things would be different

If I had told Paul how I felt. -You have to speak up for yourself. -It’s too late now. I wish I was marrying Paul Kennedy. What the… Paul? -Emma! -Have you seen Paul? I haven’t seen him anywhere. How did he get in there? What is wrong?

I am not the one who’s getting married, she is. Exactly. You, my friend, are marrying Paul Kennedy. Yes! -Hello. -It’s you. How’d you get the ring on your finger? You got down on your knee and you proposed to me. I proposed? I mean, yes, of course. Yes, I proposed.

My publicist said we should get some PR pictures in some idyllic Irish backdrops. He thinks it’ll help boost my sales figures. So not just a wedding, but a good PR event too. Exactly. If you spend the day with us, can you leave your snark at home? I’ll do my best.

Hey, you’re pretty good. I’d love to get married up here. -Why don’t you? -I don’t wanna be difficult. I’d hardly call having a voice at your own wedding being difficult. Is it everything you imagined? I know this might sound strange, but I’m not sure this is supposed to be my life.

Now is the time to speak up.

    1. DEI checklist. Women have to be told they are amazing over and over by weak effeminate white males. Forced diversity in every scene, with people that would never be together, because woke DEI has to be force fed to everyone. You'll never see just white people in a white story ever again, but every other race is allowed to be, even though white people are only 7% of people on earth.

Art is dead, nothing is natural and organic anymore. Same thing, every scene, every show and movie. Diversity is fine, we've had it forever. Forced diversity is not OK, but that's where we're at under the DEI cult. Turning white male into villain so strong independent feminist women "Can write her own story" Constant messaging. Woke hollywood can't help themselves. Sad. Thank goodness we have 100 years of real storytelling to watch before the woke years of the past 10.

    2. I saw this movie and honestly it’s pretty good. I laughed and so did my mom. If gets better as it goes on. So if u have nothing to watch I recommend this movie !! and it’s family friendly

    3. Comments show the love for Lindsay – btw, the movie is not so bad – relax. Script rather atrocious but as I say Lindsay is lovely!

    4. She looks horrible, why did she do all that stuff to her face. She looked perfectly fine before 😢 now she looks like a million others that did this to their face. It's so sad that this is nowadays sort of considered "socially normal" or """beautiful""" even 🙁 is anyone else seeing how not beautiful it is making people look? I know enough people that agree with me but how is it that so many pll are doing this and in my opinion basically ruining their face😢

    5. More plastic paddy crap written by a starry-eyed American, who thinks the Quiet Man was a documentary. Irish people despise these type of films.

    6. Im so happy for Lindsay Lohan this is definetly a comeback for her. She was black listed for so long in Hollywood I didnt think she would ever make another movie. Maybe it was the luck of the Irish 🍀 ✨🍀✨🍀✨🍀✨

    7. What can I say Im Irish and girl I met on tinder a few years ago during covid is coming to visit from the other side of the world, We met during covid and had amazing time, connected and spent some amazing days together where time kinda stood still and then she was suppose to come and visit me but then her father got sick and she had to take a flight home asap, It was Christmas and I sent her a beautiful Christmas present and she sent me one but but sadly the Brazilian customs stop mine and sent it back to Ireland via Iceland… hahha anywhooo we stayed in touched skyping on and off and talking most days but living on other sides of the world does not help, so alas got a boyfriend and that was that and we stayed in touch but less frequent. Fast forward too today and she is arriving in Ireland next week with her boyfriend and she wants to see me and say hello, ( i still have the christmas letter ). She sent me a link for this trailer and says the guy reminds her of me. Ive got a red convertible too and am around the same age as the actors and after watching this trailer it reminds me of us, its kinda brought it all back. Sometimes life is the right people at the wrong time.

    8. I’ve watched it !

The movie is good ! The story holds its own ! Lindsay Lohan play a good role here ! But the movie is not really my cup of tea ! BUT NOT AT ALL ! 😂🤣😂🤣

    9. The movie was adorable with funny twists and turns. Highly recommend it if you want to watch something light and interesting while having dinner or with your family. It's good late night chick flick. Also the location is breathtaking.

    10. Maddie was a terrible friend lol. At least when the story was reversed Maddie's friend and OG bride was very supportive of her and happy and didnt tried to steal her groom. Like this movie is so problematic 😂😂

    11. Appalling Tosh! Dreadful third rate rip off of 'Leap Year' without the wit ,charm, characterization, direction etc. I beg you to see the original and compare. Lindsay Lohan does her best and its good to see her in this and 'Falling for Christmas'. There are so many good things on Netflix, how did this slip through the net? They should have set it at Christmas and sold it to Hallmark films.

    12. This female has to do elderly roles instead of new young girl role. She is not girl anymore. She looks very elderly. I have seen her young movies. She was really beautiful and charming. But what had happened to her… Plastic surgery????? Whatever. But young roles are not going well with her for her current facial features. Sorry lady
