Weird how tastes vary among Buffy fans.
Both myself and my wife actually disliked (with a few exceptions) Buffy S.6 and 7. We thought those seasons came across as a show doing imitation Buffy. They were just 'off.' S.5 was the perfect ending for that show. Season 2, 3 & 5 were my fav's, then 4, 1, 6 & 7. For 'Angel' the only season I was luke warm on was 4. Season 2, 3 & 5 stood out, and 1 was merely 'excellent.' 'Firefly' was one of the most tragic cancellations in TV history.

1:57:34 This was my story exactly. In 1988-89, One of my parent's friends had taped all three movies onto one VHS cassette and lent it to us, I saw all three films at once. Absolutely LOVED it. Read many of the expanded universe books, and a few of the comics as well, I even watched the Droids and Ewoks animated series. After my daughter was born in the early 2000s, I introduced her to it, and she loved the original trilogy too (not so much the prequels lol).. Then Disney bought it, and I thought, Hey, a new star wars movie, let's go see it together. We left the theater after watching the Force Awakens, looking at each other and saying 'What the fuck was that shit? The only good things in the film were Finn and BB-8 and most of it made no sense.." We never went back to watch the last two, and neither of us care about Star Wars anymore. Not one bit. It's sad that Disney thinks they can do whatever they want with it, when even George Lucas was afraid to add to the world so he wouldn't mess up the lore that was built up.
