    You are always on the safe side of life so usage of this tool is recommended so this was my hint no. zero so to say the basic knowledge and a great hint to improve your chinese bike to have a lot of fun with it over a long periode of time

    My first hint for an useful update of your chinese replica-bike is to purchase a spark plug from a wellknown manufacturer first step on your agenda before you begin to improve other things so buy a spark plug from NGK the type of spark plug can be seen in the end of this chapter

    The main advantage of the better spark plug is that your bike is starting better my own experience: instead of kicking the kick-starter 10 times or more with a better spark plug my machine startet after the first or second kick so, hint no. 1: usage of a better spark plug

    For my hints and tips in improving your bike from china we come to hint no. 2 where I’ll tell you something about the brakes and my hint no. 2 is: buy improved brake pads such as from manufacturer KITACO for the rear brake and in case of the front brake

    There are some different types of brake calipers so, best thing is you ask the dealer where you purchased your bike for improved brake pads for the disc brake so, this is my hint no. 2 for improving your chinese bike so let’s go on with further hints and hacks!

    And now my hint no. 3 for improving your minibike replica from china: the usage of so called “Stahlflex” brake lines – I don’t know how they are called in english so I use the german word so, you can improve your front brake a lot by using this kind of brake line

    And if you change your standard rubber brake line into these brake line mentioned in this chapter exchange the brake-fluid as a bonus-step so to say and if you use these kind of brake line you’ll see that there is a more advantaged kind of braking possible hint no. 4 in this video

    And not too expensive to improve is the usage of a drive-chain from a good brand or manufacturer in case of my bikes all in all I use the drive-chains of manufacturer “REGINA”, my favourite type of chain is the type “REGINA GOLD” all in all a very good chain doesn’t get longer as fast

    As the chinese drive chain and very reliable, too So, that was my hint & hack no. 4 furthermore a good way to improve your bike, something which is not too easy to do if you don’t have the right tools, is the exchange of the wheel bearings from the chinese ones into

    Wheel bearings in industrial quality from manufacturers such as “FAG” or “SKF”, which you can purchase at your local hardware dealer or dealer for industrial parts these wheel bearings aren’t expensive that much an it is a real improvement to the bearings from china as you will see the industrial bearings

    Rotate easier and can be easily turned by hand as mentioned before, it is an update which is not too expensive but is a real advantage so that was my hint no. 5 for you hint no. 6 is another simple but effective way the improve the reliability of your bike: better fuel hoses

    Which can be purchased at your local hardware, industrial or hydraulics dealer my own experience with the original fuel hoses is that they are made of “poor” rubber they smell a lot, get chunky or get stuck within so the fuel can’t flow in the right way it should so my hint for you

    Is to buy better fuel hoses and better hose clamps, too it is a further improvement that isn’t that expensive so, hint no. 6 is: buy better fuel hoses hint no. 7 is one of the liquids you put into your engine: the engine oil use engine oil from well-known brands instead

    Of the chinese oil in your engine this should be one of the first things to do to improve your bike so, my hint no. 7 is the usage of better engine oil hint no. 8 is an addition to my hint no. 6 and this is to drill additional holes into your fuel cap

    To improve breathing of the fuel tank as I mentioned in one of my earlier videos I got a bike with stopped after while of riding it and the only thing to stop this was in last instance the drilling of the additional holes into the fuel cap

    So, that’s hint no. 8 from me to you hint no 9 is the usage of better tyres and inner tubes from well-known brands or manufacturers such as “HEIDENAU” which are a lot better than the slippery original tyres and without digging too deep at these topic my hint no 9 is

    The purchasing of better tyres Now, we’ll go into the direction of the steering bars and my hint no. 10 for you is: instead of the chinese holder for the handle-bar use an original on from HONDA my own experience is that the handle bar holder of HONDA is from much better quality

    2. Hallo Dax-Tobi,
      ich verfolge gerne deinen Kanal und kann deine Aussagen nur bestätigen. Habe selber 3 70er Original-Daxen mit Klappergabel und noch zwei weitere in Teilen und eine Skymax 160. Die rennt wie verrückt, aber an der musste ich noch viel mehr machen und reparieren als du in dem kurzen Film zeigen konntest. Vor allem der Zongchen-Motor ist sehr empfindlich und hat fast kein Ursprungsteil mehr drin nach 7000km, von Getriebe bis Kolben und Ventile, alles schon mal kaputt gewesen. Macht aber trotzdem sauspass!
