850km journey starting in France, Hendaye train station by the sea. Normally half of the pilgrims walk to Oviedo and start Camino Primitivo from there. The other half continue on Norte.
I loved hiking by the ocean so much that from Oviedo I hiked back to Camino Norte. From Norte, I reached the pilgrim masses only at Santiago airport for the last few kilometers. It was just perfect.
