Hello everyone! Welcome back to Paris! Tonight we will visit of one of the most famous and long streets of the French capital… Rue de Rivoli. Rue de Rivoli extends over nearly 3 km Rue de Rivoli’s name pays homage to the Battle of Rivoli,

A decisive victory for Napoleon over Austria in 1797, in Northern Italy at Rivoli Veronese. From 2020 onward, Rue de Rivoli has been on of the main cycling route in Paris. We will see confirmation of this in our video. Rue de Rivoli meets 54 streets on its path.

The arcades with souvenir shops, art galleries, cafes and restaurants occupy a length of about 1 kilometer. They are located from the Place de la Concorde to the end of the Louvre façade. This architectural solution is very convenient for walking in hot and rainy weather.
