Ideally located in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, near the most famous stud farms in Normandy, just a few minutes from Deauville, I will take you to discover this contemporary villa, with a minimalist style inspired by Norman farmhouses, very large spaces, high quality service ,

I will take you to discover this extraordinary villa. Hello everyone, welcome to this new video. Today I am taking you to discover an architect-designed villa, a contemporary house which is more than 550 m² on a 2 and a half hectare park.

We are here less than 5 minutes from Deauville, we have a large long swimming pool here, a poolhouse, this villa is a minimalist style architect villa, come with me, I will take you to discover this incredible house.

We are here at the entrance to the house, the entrance is located on the east facade. We have a large brick path, which is more than 60 m long. Here you will see this contemporary house, inspired by Norman farmhouses,

It is more than 50 m long, it is more than 7 and a half meters wide. And the architect’s idea here was to take these large Norman farmhouses as inspiration, and to bring all the modern comforts. We are here in the heart of the Pays d’Auge.

We have the most beautiful stud farms in the Pays d’Auge around us. We have Pont-l’évêque next door, we have Beaumont and above all we are 5 minutes from Deauville. We have done a lot of castles recently, it is true that Normandy is rich in castles,

Rich in heritage, but we were also keen to show you these beautiful contemporary villas. So we told you in the introduction, this house is an architect’s house which has just been built. The owner has just put the last brushstrokes on it.

The mandate was signed just a few days ago, so today we have the chance to show you a preview of this very beautiful house. Regarding the price, I can’t tell you much more because it is still confidential, but you probably saw it, in the thumbnail of this video. Come on, follow me.

The architect built a large curved wall here. This wall is made of lime, it recalls properties in the south of France, Mediterranean properties. So we have the opening here which is facing the living room, so in the morning the sun rises right here

Crosses and floods the living room and then in the evening from the swimming pool conversely on the you can see the rays of the sun crossing right here. We will now head towards the entrance, and then the entrance hall of the house. So we are here in the entrance hall of the house.

The entrance hall will serve the large living rooms, the living room, and the dining room, the sleeping area downstairs and the floor which is just above with this large cast-in-place concrete staircase. So regarding this house it is more than 50m long.

We told you in the introduction, we are here in a minimalist style. What is it about this minimalist style that can be intriguing? It’s a style that will play on materials and spaces. We have a floor on the ground, a raw concrete slab, and as raw materials,

We also have, for example, ironwork which is made of steel. These fairly simple materials will highlight other much more noble materials like here these walnut surfaces or the marble elements, the table here or behind, the large linear area of the kitchen. These large living rooms have been designed to accommodate people, guests,

So that we really have a large space here, this living room is more than 100 m², and it faces the swimming pool, the poolhouse. Despite the fact that we are inside here in this living room we also almost have the impression of being outside,

With these large bay windows which give us an exceptional view of the park. And it’s very pleasant because you can simply head towards the terrace, towards the swimming pool, while being here inside this living room. So the living room is a continuation of the dining room that we will see just behind.

What must be emphasized here is that we really have a beautiful space, we have more than 3 m of ceiling height. As we have said, we have large bay windows which flood the room with light. Quite raw materials, we talked about concrete, we talked about these large American walnut facades. Wooden facades.

And these materials can be found almost everywhere in the house. So if we continue towards the kitchen, the kitchen dining room which is just behind this living room. We will also find these same materials. We have large facades that extend over 10 m in length,

With just above a magnificent Tinos marble, a marble that comes from the Cyclades in Greece. This was installed over 10 m long on this line. Look at me, it’s incredible, it’s so impressive.

And this room will also serve as a dining room, it’s modular, you can eat for 6, 4, 12, whatever you want. And always facing East West, so windows on each side, and we are outside here, it’s so bright, so big, that we can enjoy the beautiful Normandy countryside.

The household appliances are integrated behind this facade, so we have the fridge right here, with the freezer. And of course we have a second fridge, a second dishwasher which is just behind, in the back kitchen, which really helps to clean up the space.

In this minimalist style, the idea is also to vary the volumes and this room which is a kitchen dining room, could also be a living room because it is so large, or a living room with this beautiful piano which highlights the room.

And while the parents are cooking we can have the children studying piano right next door. So we continue, we are going to go back through the living rooms, and look at this huge corridor, it runs the 50 m of the house.

We go back through the living room, the living room, which takes us back to the entrance hall, which goes in a second wing serving three suites, three guest suites, which we will go see straight away. So here is a very practical first guest toilet.

And we arrive in this first large suite of friends. You will see here that there is a certain uniqueness in this house, and we see it in particular in the materials which remain the same. This concrete on the ground which is concrete which has been sanded,

And which with these pebbles reminds us a little of a terrazo. Concerning the materials of the bathroom that we have here next door, we have green marble from Greece, which gives access to a sink, and a bathtub, here we also have a private toilet in the continuity of the bathroom. bath.

The rooms on the ground floor all have a view of the estate, the park, and private access to the terrace. You don’t need to go back through the corridor, through the house, you can go straight out and have your private access to the terrace and the swimming pool.

We’re going to go back down the hall. Here we have a second guest suite which is in the same format as the one we saw next door, but above all the very large and very beautiful guest suite is this one. It is almost 30 m².

You have the sleeping area and the shower area behind it. And we once again find this walnut veneer, this American walnut, which covers the headboard, but which also covers just behind, all the cupboards. So we have plenty of storage here, large shelf of storage.

And it hides, it’s very harmonious, it hides in the decor, And just look here, you might think it’s a cupboard door, but in fact we have a toilet, a separate toilet which is hidden in this large linear. It’s very clever.

The basin, we were talking about basins cast on site, these are concrete basins, which were cast here on site. It’s tailor-made. Once again marble. And behind, a suspended shower that comes out of the ceiling, with once again marble on the walls, and marble as a shower tray, placed right here on the floor.

So this was the large guest suite, we will now cross the corridor, find ourselves in the hall, to go up to the first floor. We go back through the hall here, and we’re going to look at the first floor.

To access the first floor there is a very beautiful staircase, which was cast in concrete, here custom-made. Also with custom ironwork. We haven’t said it but all the joinery was done by a locksmith, everything is tailor-made here. So we’re going to go up this staircase, you can admire the height of this stairwell.

I think we have more than 10 m here, it’s quite impressive. The landing gives access to the two wings of the house, we have a sleeping area on one side, and we have a more relaxing or entertainment area on that side.

We arrive here in a very large room, which is the gym with its equipment, its treadmill, its bike, the weight machines. This room has very impressive volumes, and overlooks the countryside, the countryside of the Pays d’Auge, overlooks the swimming pool, it is absolutely incredibly calm, and you can,

At any time of the day, take a few moments to come play sports and enjoy this incredible view of the countryside and the Pays d’Auge. The first floor, the floor of the first floor is entirely made of solid chain, it’s a solid floor, it’s very pretty, it’s raw but it’s very, very pretty.

So the gym, continuing we have a sauna here. We have done our sports session, we want to relax, we want to continue our moment of well-being, we can use the sauna which is there. This room given its size can also be used for people who would like to do yoga

Who would like to meditate, it is a room that is particularly suitable for this. Continuing, we have a dormitory, a children’s dormitory. It’s quite practical and it’s very well done. This dormitory has a separate bathroom. And this way the children have a space here to rest,

Or to play, we can see here that there are quite a few books, quite a few games, so it must be a very very pleasant space for our young people children. From the landing we saw the gym and the children’s dormitory, we are going to cross these rooms again,

We are on the first floor here but look at this symmetry this depth. We have a breakthrough with all the openings which are in a row, a breakthrough of more than 50 m, it’s very voluminous, it’s very pleasant. In this minimalist style there is really a work on spaces.

We worked as much on the spaces as on the materials. And the idea is really that we feel good in this house and that’s the case we breathe, we have beautiful volumes, it’s very pleasant, it’s very bright. So we continue, we go back through the landing with this quite impressive stairwell,

And we will arrive in a first room on my right here which is the TV room or the gaming room. We have a very large screen here, which allows you to simply relax on the sofa in complete peace and quiet without bothering the neighbors,

And you can also play on the console, it’s a very pleasant room. So we continue, we had this first gaming room here. So we go down the long hallway, again this walnut furniture for the sake of uniqueness, we found it downstairs, we found it in the gym, we still have it here.

So we have three suites here, a first here, a second behind and then the Master which is at the end of the corridor. All the suites have their bathroom, so here we have a bathroom, and in the extension a large bedroom with a very large bed,

Once again this headboard with a niche in American walnut. We really find this material, this material really everywhere. And then we have the view of the Pays d’Auge once again, which can allow our guests when they wake up in the morning

To really have a nice breath of oxygen, of greenery here and to enjoy our beautiful Normandy. The two suites share a WC which is here. And so the second suite, on the same principle as the first, with a bathroom at the entrance,

We have a whole shelf of storage hidden in the wall behind these facades here, integrated rather into this wall there. And the sleeping area with the double bed, the headboard and you understood it, a view of the countryside, of the pool house, of the estate on that side.

So we continue, we finish the discovery of this house with the very large master, the large parental suite. A toilet here upon entering, and once again this large linear space in the same spirit as the kitchen, in the same spirit as the corridor.

A raw concrete basin, cast on site, custom-made, with all the taps which are recessed. A Devon bathtub in the middle of this room here. The night part, the sleeping part with the king size bed which is under this glass roof

Which in the evening allows you to simply have a view of the sky and admire the stars. Here is this suite, the master suite is very very large, it is impressive with its volumes. We have finished the presentation of the first floor,

We are going to head towards the ground floor to show you the exterior of the house. So we saw the inside of this house. We saw the living room, the dining room, the two downstairs suites with the third large guest suite at the back.

We saw the first floor with the gym, meditation room, sauna and children’s dormitory. The two guest suites and the master bedroom at the far end. So we’re done for this house. Small clarification, really the idea and inspiration here was the style of a Norman farmhouse.

The walls are made of lime plaster, typical of Normandy. The roof is a historic monument flat tile roof. And the ridge are pottery ridge tiles made to measure by a local craftsman. All along the 50 m of this large facade, there is a wooden terrace,

Decorated with small concrete walls, always for the uniqueness of the services of this house. A large swimming pool here which is 15 m long. This swimming pool is made of marble imitation porcelain stoneware, and it’s quite practical because the color is already very pretty,

You must have seen it with the drone views, but the color is very pretty, it’s a blue that reminds us of the Mediterranean Sea, and also it has an important thermal aspect is that the fairly dark, black color of the tiles,

Keeps and stores the heat from the sun’s rays and therefore without heating too much even if there is a heat pump here swimming pool is immediately at 24°, even though we are here in Normandy even if it is very hot today look we are in polo shirts, we didn’t wear the shirt,

But it has a very practical effect . Another important point to add, we won’t show it to you, but there is a garage at the very end of the property, and there is also an independent apartment for staff, maintenance staff, here is another apartment which is on the end of the property.

We continue with the pool house, a very large pool house. Large open room with its exposed framework. A basin, a very large brick basin that we are going to see right away. So as we said, we have an area here of almost 2 and a half hectares.

We are surrounded by nature, in the countryside, it’s very pleasant, it’s very green. We can see the village bell tower which is at the back there. We are truly in complete peace and quiet here. So look at this pool house, it is very very large,

We talked about its basin here, a very raw brick basin to really recall the spirit of the house. This pool house allows you to come and place deckchairs or sun loungers here to be a little sheltered. It can also make it possible to make a sort of covered shelter,

When you want to eat, when you want to have dinner with your family and be covered, either from the shade or from possible bad weather. And behind this pool house, we have a very practical sanitary area for when we get out of the pool, we just have to cross and then get here.

We take the large wooden terrace of the house, and we are here on the southern part of the terrace of the house so very pleasant in full sun, and then we have an outdoor shower to rinse off after bathing in this very big pool. So we come to the end of this visit,

We are in the heart of the Pays d’Auge, as you have seen, just 5 minutes from Deauville, this very large contemporary house inspired by the large farmhouses that we have here in Normandy. Seven bedrooms, a very large living room, very large dining room of more than 200 m²,

This beautiful swimming pool, look at the perspective, more than 15 m long, its pool house next door. We have 2 and a half hectares of park. This property that we have for sale at Kretz, well don’t hesitate to contact us if you want more information.
