Yet another cold bike overnight. Spring never seems to arrive here in Northern Sweden. This time I cyle a bit north just outside a little village called Furuögrund to find a nice campsite on top of a mountain looking over the Bothnian Bay. The campsite is located just 200 meters off the Eurovelo 7 and I can recommend it if you’re ever cycling through these parts.

    1. Lovely short Film Mike…really enjoyed the minimal documentary styling…serves beautifully the natural surroundings in which you travel …💪🎥👋🇨🇦

    2. Thx for the nice video Mike! I'm watching it while relaxing in my tent. I happen to be on my first bike tour for this year. Nights have been chilly, close to zero degrees in Celcius. But during the days up to 15-20 C, no clouds, and also weak windy. So really nice weather for the first tour.

    3. Great vid , looked really cold and frosty but you were well wrapped up and a hot meal can be a big comfort.
Those shelters are handy , l could almost feel the warmth from the sun when you were sitting in it cutting up the fruit🤣
Good luck with your next one may the weather be on your side 👍

    4. Great stuff Mike, I just love your approach and ethos.. I am now working my way through all your videos, waiting for the UK's rules to alter so my tent can go back on my bike, thanks.

    5. Great eye Mikael! Amazing talent for selecting those epic scenes/views…thanks again for another great video…hope all is well!….stay safe.

    6. Hey Mike, another incredibly beautiful composition we have right here. Once again, you nailed in capturing the essence of bike touring with astonishing imagery, sounds and story line. You deserve to buy yourself a drone and get a different perspective on your tours! Awesome. PS. This is Victor, from Brazil. Just started this channel in English to talk about day-to-day cycling. Stay safe!

    7. Mike thanks for the videos! Just found your channel. I'm a South African based in Malmö and I'm planning a bike trip up through Sweden this summer with my girlfriend. I've done a couple of 700km trips but this will only be my second trip over 1000kms and my GF's first so not the most experienced yet but not clueless either haha. We're on the hunt for an affordable set of pannier bags for her, is there anything you can recommend? I have a set of front and back Vaude bags (all found on Tradera!) but as it's her first trip we don't want to spend too much on her set up (in case she doesn't take to it haha). Anyway, we were wondering if you had any recommendations on an affordable set of bags? or if there is a Facebook group in Sweden where people sell second-hand cycle touring equipment? I saw your video about the LIDL bags which I went to look for but it seems they're no longer on sale! As you said though, they were a little small.

As this is also my first tour around Sweden I would love to hear any recommendations of the best places to see on a bike this summer as the route is not entirely set yet! Thanks for the videos and any advice you can give!

      Med vänliga hälsningar,
