The 2022 Tour De France was epic, with a gruelling battle between Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard for the Yellow Jersey. With a smattering of flatter stages, there was ample opportunity for the sprinters to take their wins, with other mountainous days providing chances for breakaways and climbers to take a stage for themselves. With 21 stages over 3 weeks, there was a LOT of racing, and we’ve compiled all the best bits, so sit back, grab a bidon, and enjoy this Grand Tour masterpiece!

    1. I used to work at jumbo visma and I can confirm that Jonas always orders a Chinese over the phone after every stage. As soon as he crosses the line he’s already thinking of his recovery (king prawn fried rice). Nice that GCN included these little snippets of a pros lifestyle.

    2. That shot of the green, yellow and white jersey together on Hautacam is still my favourite of this year. The beast in green, doing one final pull for his teammate to solidify the win is such an epic moment that we'll probably never see again.

    3. On stage 20, I felt Jonas actually slowed down a little towards the end to let Wout win the TT.. But still remained fast enough to stay ahead of Pog.. Chapeau to him!

    4. I think this TDF 2022 kind of revived cycling as one of the great sports in the world. It was like no one could resist watching the battle between Pogacar and Vingegaard. Can't wait for the Netflix documentary 🙂

    5. man what a battle, this has been the most exciting TDF in years and pogacar is a true champion, i know he lost but you just see how the guy talks of competition and the fact that he reaches the hand out to vingegaard when he takes the yellow off his back. pure magic.

i cant remember the last time i was screaming in the living room watching tdf. i hope the competition continues. also hope uae steps up the game. jumbo is simply too strong now.

    6. For me wout colored the tour of 2022, He brought Vingegaard several times back to the front of the peleton. And wout showed himself by attacking and winning in the yellow yersey. Tell me which yellow yersey attacked the last decades and won the etappe ?? ALMOST every day Wout did sommething to ammuse the spectators and in the mean while doing all the work for Vingegaard he mannaged to win the green yersey. He is top 3 time trial of the world, he can sprint a bit and climb verry well ! and also in the cyclocross he is top 3 of the world . So thanks Wout for entertaining us in the whole tour. Sorry guys for my bad englisch writing 😉

    7. Best bits my ass way way way many interviews and not enough actual cycling footage seriously cutting to the end of a stage for about five seconds is useless what a load of bullshit

    8. I haven't watched a Tour with so much pride and excitement for years. There wasn't really a dull day, which you have sometimes seen in the Tour. Sensational to have a Dane on top, and when it starts in your own country for the first time ever, and you go watch a depart yourself (I was in Vejle), and you realise it will be a while until it comes back, if ever, it just adds to that. One of the best Summer experiences ever for me, watching in Vejle!

    9. What a tour this was! Hope Pogacar has recovered enough to give Vingegaard a tough time. He looked ominous in Criterium du Dauphine.. July 1st cant come fast enough!

    10. This is a great summation of an excellent tour. I loved the Netflix programme but you have accurately reminded me of the drama and emotions. 🎉

    11. after watching the netflix documentary, the fact that jonas could have won the tt but instead gave it to wout made that moment so much more heartfelt. bro could have won the tour and the stage, but said "nah we both win today" and wants the best for his teammates

    12. That stage 11 where the Jumbo TEAM and Jonas executed a perfect plan. A plan so hard that there were a long way from theoretic s to executing, but they did it to perfection and kept it all together while all others fell apart around them and even Pogi ran out of juice. I cannot recall a more exiting stage in any TdF I have seen, and I have seen a lot.

    13. Hi GCN Racing! It's almost a year since you've uploaded this video. I hope you will do this compilation again with the 2023 season. I'll be super happy about it. Thank you :))
