Cycling in Vienna on my Marin DSX 1 | Telemetry Overlay

Join me on this sunny, spring ride through Vienna. See the varied surface as I ride brand spanking new bike paths, follow tram tracks, hit some modern, tight packed cobblestone, and venture off into some gravel in a National Park right within the city limits of Vienna.

I provide a full telemetry overlay using the very amazing Telemetry Overlay software (link below). The Garmin GPS stickers on my GoPro Hero 10 have issues…. see my last video….

So, I combined the video from the GoPro Hero 10 with my Garmin Edge Explore bike computer to create some pretty awesome telemetry

Well hey everybody and welcome back to my Channel today we’re going to be cycling in Vienna and for the first time I’m going to be giving full Telemetry overlay data um so the video was all done on my new GoPro Hero 10 um and the GPS data was collected on my Garmin Edge

Explorer so we’re going to start this ride out in the 18th District in the Northwest side of Vienna um down at the bottom the controls are from left to right the speed than the geographic coordinates uh the yellow circle on the red line is the point on the overall

Loop for the day uh 37 mil about 58 km um and then we have the progress bar showing that I’m 1.16 mil into the 37 mile ride and then we have our bearing in the bottom right at the top right is a map view uh today I’m riding my Marin

Csx1 um I have that mount on the handlebars for the uh GoPro and that worked out really well uh so yeah this new bike path is in the 18th District runs along the 41 tram line uh for a couple of Miles um and then meets up

With uh other bike trails um for the 37 miles today there were probably only 2 to 3 miles where I was on roads um and of course you’re in Vienna so you have tram tracks um on a mountain bike or gravel bike with wider tires not really

A big deal but on a road bike those narrow tires can get caught uh so you need to be careful uh there was some Cobble and there were probably in all about 7 to 8 miles of gravel uh some through the pter area which you’ll see

In a bit and some in the low bound National Park uh here we’re going across the uh pedestrian bridge to the shidow uh subway station which has both the u4 and the U6 um and basically I’m not going to talk too much um going to let the the

Music and the video play uh but I’d like to know in your comments below uh how you find this Telemetry data I’m using uh the software called Telemetry overlay um so let me know what you think about it I I find it a new tool I just bought

It last week so like I said it’s my first time trying um so uh your comments are welcome and um last bit before I turn off uh these 37 miles um all within the city limits of Vienna um this little bit here is one of my favorites it’s the

Rails to Trails um project that was the old stbon the old red stbon on um elevated trains that had been running for oh I don’t know close to 100 years if you watch my uh video above in the link you’ll you’ll see the Tramway Museum video I did um back in the fall

And you can see um the actual old stbon in that video so have a look at that too anyway thanks for watching um enjoy the rest of the video and don’t forget to like And subscribe bye now N Oh Oh A Oh Oh Oh Oh A Oh Oh Oh Nah Oh Oh A Oh Oh Oh Oh Oh N Oh Oh N Oh

    1. Peaceful ride! Cool to visualize the whole thing like this. Im not sure YouTube has these functions but I wonder if you could splice videos of different rides where you make different turns and the let the viewers ultimately make the decisions on where you go. Like a second perdon book!
