In 1993, Chase Gouin is riding for Hoffman Bikes and gets one of the two prototype Big Daddies ever made. Chase’s was lost by the airlines going to the World Championships in 1993, in Limoges France. Upsettingly he never got it back and it hasnt been seen since. Now, 31 years later, in 2024, in a recent trip down here to hang out and stay at my house, the other protoype (Kevin Jones’s) was unveiled for him to see in person for the first time in 31 years. Like being in a time machine in not seeing or riding this bike (or his prototype) in so long, we thought it would be pretty fun for Chase to do some flatland tricks on it and i put together the clips side by side with similar trick footage from 1993 of Chase riding both his and Kevins prototypes. Plus some bonus riding clips of Chase riding his modern rider. Way rad. Hope you enjoy.
