Did you know that the Netherlands has more bikes than people I traveled to the city of Amsterdam last week higher and to my surprise I discovered that there are over 22 million bicycles in the Netherlands as compared to just 18 million people how did this happen so

Roads and on the streets bikes are King so this is a bike lane is for people to ride and then this is the main road for the cars finally studies show that the Dutch people are extending their life expectancy by half a year due to this green way of transportation I love

This is what Nigeria needs right now
The Netherlands is about 25 years ahead of other countries in this regard. We have a long way to go in Ireland. People always say Ireland is not like Amsterdam, it’s too rainy, too cold, too hilly… always excuses. I’m seeing the same from Nigerians in the comments. 😂 But there are ways around all this. It gets hot and cold and windy in the Netherlands too, yet somehow they manage. Thanks Tayo for raising awareness of this.

I live in The Netherlands and I have two bikes. I love the bike lanes, small children can ride their bikes to school safely.
The best thing for me is seeing elderly men and women cycling, they look healthy and happy.
Nigeria will adapt this very soon with the cost of fuel
