Well look at all this broken pottery and glass this could be treasure this really is a mudlock dream this is one of the world’s most deadliest Weapons right M lovers how you doing we are out on the hcraft today going mlock let’s get some L up with Mark wooho sorry if you didn’t catch that intro I get very excited when I’m about to go mud loocking with my hovercraft history Hunters we search the mud flats
In England in search of long lost history and very often we find it so jump on board as we go treasure hunting once again and get some luck in the Mark W Yeah we’re new location today and uh got high hopes cuz no’s never been here before the other H craft boys had never been here so let’s get some luck in the mark what you got Mark oh we got Sal bottle oh nice he knows that’s a nice one that Enos fruit salt
It’s a nice bottle that hold on yeah and we one in our new location yes well look at all this broken pottery and glass there got to be a few Treasures around here bit of a spoon yep oh it’s like a Cod maybe oh how it’s been proper
Melted I think was a bit too far gone get your eyes out if there’s anything good give me a shout if you see anything a few bits of metal around here there nothing oh is that a coin you found a coin oh that is very far
Gone looks like it might have been a he KN cool what you got oh little buckle and an earring oh look at that that suits you dude it’s an old pirate match your tongue take care there you go there’s a coin oh wow I think it’s just a hate me but yeah put
Stuff in this little spot obviously been washed out Rob’s lost a boot that’s the second one I was too busy laughing mate hey he’s out he’s out the other foot’s com that is sticky get [Laughter] out interesting little spot here found a bit of metal first of all is a little uh
303 again a little buckle and a little bit of plaque bit of plate of a lock or something oh is that a button there there it is is it military oh that’s cool clean that gently when I get home it’s good find well this was a bit annoying
Because every time I Tred to research the letters BTC as you can see on this button I kept getting results for Bitcoin but eventually I think I worked it out the letters BTC stand for the British transport commission I couldn’t find another example so I think this is
A very rare little button indeed it began back in 1948 and was a program designed to nationalize the railways also the canals and Road Freight in the United Kingdom it was a huge industrial organization which owned 52,000 Mi of Railway track and countless Railway Vehicles coaches locomotives and miles
Of canals and also steam ships and hotels and houses in March 1953 it had 877,000 staff of which this button probably dropped off the flag indicates that this button was probably from uniform of someone working on the steam ships and it could explain why it was found in the river Oh lovely I’ve got that’s off of the door a it that’s a that’s a latch off a yeah off a door that’s the old paraffine oh look that’s got some writing on oh go cool yeah nice oh Wicked you got that Barton’s traymark oh yes an old
Wick paraffin lamp oh you got another one you got one as well yeah oh that’s a nice one that’s a Sailors one go on pick it up oh that’s nice oh I know a home for that slow for like that I think in their collection don’t you I believe so nice find that’s
A Pucket little one here we go oh we’ll see if there’s any more around here and then uh glass top there oh yeah little stopper yeah the classic the classic m l can find Wicked This petroleum lamp artifact has come from a flat Wick burner made by Bartons and dates to the late
1800s before this invention you needed a glass chimney on your lamp but this design did away with that meaning different style lanterns could be used I wonder what sort of room this illuminated back in the Victorian period another little coin here it’s like little faving oh yeah
Sweet who needs a metal detector when you got fines that sitting on the surface do you want me to clean that out for you yes please I think he might be Georgia fifth nice that lovely patina though that all have to come off un sort of un fortunately if we can idea
It a bit of a bottle there half in and half out is there anything on it is it complete think it might be you know oh there we go that’s a nice one probably for a sauce pickly sauce or something like that little Bead it’s a cute one that’s really vibrant color glass bead yeah definitely glass not plastic Rob’s got his strange Contraption what you got there Rob look like firework you got in your hand there mate you going to let it off oh me is that a gold
Ring oh yeah excuse me oh it is as well is it yeah check that out yeah what you hold on yeah we can confirm the uh the the fire the firework tells us it’s a gold ring let’s have a look at this thing oh that’s nice isn’t it oh yeah
That that looks like it is very old I only found a gold ring and a diamond it’s got Stone on right if I didn’t know any better you proposing well Kev sh sh a light for you mate I’ve got the earring fliping neck I re that
Could be Roman really well the way that the setting is wmart I’ve seen similar ones for sale cuz obviously like when you see them on when you go when you get the detective mags and stuff they show you what’s for sale and that’s a beautiful thing I have to get that checked out
That’s going to have to be one to be uh to be shown to the flow I think flip it very safe photo yeah is that right there yeah wow oh my God a gold ring I it’s been ages since a fan of gold rings so I’m proper ched especially one like that
Yeah I can’t see any Hall marks in there who Bott anyone I found one all right no Hallmarks guys this could be treasure oh man I can’t believe that cannot believe that all the mud off wow that’s beautiful as well that’s a really nice polished Stone yeah at that
Wow Roman bracel oh very very fetching SE something on it Cesar CES well my lovers I cannot Adam and Eve what a fantastic find I hope you agree do you think it’s my find of the year so far I reckon so and if you want to see
Me try and better that then please make sure you subscribe and hit that notification Bell so you don’t miss out on any more mud Ventures coming up now we use the word treasure quite a lot when we’re talking about fins but this really is actual treasure and what I
Mean by that is over here in the UK when we find something that’s older than 300 years old and is made of a precious metal such as gold or silver but isn’t One Singular coin then that is classed as treasure and by law you have to
Report it within 14 days of finding it which I have already done so I’ve contacted the flow and I’ve spoken to them and at some point I’m going to take it to the museum and record it it just means for now they know that it exists
So when I do that I’m going to try and record it and invite you along and see how the recording process works because I know many of you have asked me that when I record finds through the museum how does it work what happens to the find afterwards and they always give it
Back treasure is slightly different they can hold on to it for a lot longer some of my treasure items have been held for up to 3 years and I’ve heard sometimes it goes even longer just because there’s lots of paperwork to do lots of things to consider so unfortunately this ring
Despite being in my possession right now when it gets handed over to the museum they will have they will hold on to it for for a number of years and then we can’t get around that problem but hopefully the ring will be disclaimed which means they have no interest in it
And be returned to me they may want to acquire it which means they’ll probably give me a reward for it um but I just don’t know we have to wait and cross that bridge when it comes so like I said make sure you subscribe hit the notification Bell and you’ll find out
The updates when I have them so I have actually found treasure before believe it or not and actually two rings previously one of the Rings was a gold ring I think that was the first ring I found that was really cool I was out at my friend metal detecting and it was a
Really wintry day I was literally sliding my car to the fields where we were and it was so cold I couldn’t feel my toes um I do remember that’s gra by the way shout out to you if you’re watching graah really nice bloke and he said when I first started I’ll pop onto
My fields and we’ll have a little go and uh yeah I found this beautiful 14th century gold ring it was a bit mangled when I found it but I got Wendy to repair it once it had been disclaimed from the museum and they didn’t showing the interest for it uh another ring
Which I found is a fedy ring or fed ring and that is two clasping hands together you might have seen them as a modern equivalent and that design has been going on for centuries and I think that one dates a little bit earlier to the 13th century both have been recorded
With the museum under the treasure act and both have been disclaimed and give back to me so let’s see what happens with this ring when I record it in the meantime I’m going to admire it and look at it and share with as many people and
My mates as I can before the museum um look after it for me and eventually return it and the fun doesn’t stop there there’s plenty more funs to see coming up in this mod Venture so let’s go and get some more luck in the MK I Spire with my BDI either a pee or a little bead it is as well covered in seaweed so it kind of disguises it a little bit there we go cracking little glass bead let me clean that up a little bit there you go a little bit cleaner a f a fil
Clean L be jubly don’t need a new meat cleaver do you for dispatching uh things pretty old one though is’t it it’s very well made yeah he’s found a bead red one good spot it’s like a little H Berry oh he nice it’s not squiding is it is it is it a
Smarty got a hole for it got a smiley face on it it’s not one of your Smarties Kev sorry that’s another what nice one got the color pops on these she’s one of the world’s most deadliest weapons if you’ve ever rode a bicycle all right with these metal ones
And they go they were probably Shin killer is’t they they are wow all right we got to find the rest of the bike now Mark that’s your challenge it be here somewhere oh we have another little bead beautiful Co bait blue one this
Time is it a bead or is it part of I don’t think it’s been actually I think it must be some part of jewelry look like it might be a sit in there it’s got to be of a hard back to it yeah maybe part of a don’t know earring or brooch or
Something beautiful sea warn I’d say on this one Marx just handed me this and he thought it was a bead which it kind of is but I think what you got there Mark is a little ladyb bird see little dots on the back yeah I can so that would have been filled with
Probably some white uh enamel probably so small almost dropped him right put you somewhere safe little big little man he didn’t nearly fly Away I think I found a bit of a doll’s head don’t know what it was at first and then here we go look oh look she still got her makeup on but I know perfect time for this oh it’s even got the number on the back
These are made in Germany German yeah so it’s got a little Makers Mark on the back but uh kev’s wife is a fan of the doll’s head so there you go mate you can take that for the mes I’m sure you’ll be number one in her book today
Yeah well we’ve wandered into this wonderful Creek yet again see what Treasures it reveals you can see there stuff everywhere including little files lots of things yet to be discovered that’s a big a big teacup broken it’s like a nice one there little poison not to be taken where are we
Going to take you anyway oh there’s a poison or two around here a few of you have commented in the past asking what actually did these poison bottles contain well it wasn’t just poison as we know but anything that shouldn’t be consumed hence the writing
On the sides not to be taken as in swallowed so think cleaning products paint thinners poisonous chemicals things like that these glass bottles were also brightly colored in Greens and blues and had dimples or ridges so that the visually impaired all those clambering around at night didn’t accidentally drink something that would kill
Them little bit of uh metal things as well Su a part of a bucket watch oh yeah oh it’s a shame that’s not got the uh face in it that’s cool though might be a little Makers Mark on all that so I’ll give a little little clean
Up yeah that’s nice love the colors on it though so I don’t really want to clean it might have to though if we’re going to get a name off it now not wanting to spoil the magic of the video I admit that sometimes I set up cameras to create what’s known as
B-roll this recording yep so then I can cut it and add it between the scenes to give a bit of background and context and for a few minutes I’ll just let the camera roll and capture both of us in a nice setting whilst doing our thing now I’m not a believer
In ghosts but I know a few of you are shall we say spiritually connected so what do you think of this weird noise that I Caught yeah that’s pretty weird right here it is again hopefully I haven’t upset the spirits would you be throwing that gold ring back let me know what you think in the comments below got a spoon that wow it’s like a bung isn’t it for like a big um Barrel
Or something Barrel bung might be a ball a little spoon that’s cool got some W on one just looks pretty printed oh yeah should I put it in the backet you want to hold it I don’t want it put it in the backet I’m the designated bucket holder today marks just found something
Interesting little stopper oh deer I think I think these made gin off the top of my head I think we found a bottle actually I might have a bottle to go with this stopper there you go got well that’s a small one at the heart so I’m out with in the
Garden with the cats they’re molting so there’s hair everywhere with this bot stopper that you saw me find and um it’s really nice one actually it actually goes with the bottle that I’ve already found which is really exciting I can reunite the two and this is the bottle
In question it’s a gin bottle and it’s a Dutch one and it’s D Cooper Square Face obviously because of the square style of bottle but a very popular shape that went through centuries they made them in this shape so they could stack them in the crates without um losing much space
And uh breaking them and it reads on here who did Cooper nightly take soundly sleeps and fit awakes and this was Gin so obviously anyone who’s had a lot of gin can definitely soundly sleep but not sure about how fit they feel when they’re awake anyway that’s the bottle I
Found that in the creek as well so maybe this stopper did come from this bottle but I do love that um that little heart there I think that was part of their um branding um and on the other side it’s a bit faded but you can make out just if
You catch it on the right thing there John D Cooper and son from Rotterdam and so what I’ve done is I’ve added um a cork I’ve just uh had to file it down a little bit um and now we’re going to see if it fits in the bottle I think Daisy
Is going to help me on this one there we go do you want to come help we do this there we go oh yeah thank you so we have the sniff of approval and in in it goes what a lovely marriage I think this is how it’s supposed to be I couldn’t
See any other examples online so but it seems to be quite a good fit and this uh this design here with the way you grab it is actually a really good way of opening the bottle and pull yourself a nice drink with you bam can’t see the bottle
So we got one coming out the uh at the bank here it’s free it I think he might be a chemist oh yeah that’s a nice one oh pH gun away reasonably common but still nice to find yeah pH go away chemist London that’s pretty nice little milk
Glass sometimes they got a shield on oh this one it’s got shield on put a little label in there little face cream or something yeah that’s keeper well we do like a little cotton rear wink on this channel that’s a nice one good Nick next to another bottle ginger
Beer nice black glass that could be a nice cut down one actually put that one in the bucket and have a look at this ginger beer of course got a lot of uh yeah I think I’ll take that it might be some right on the other side or not still cool
Thing yeah we’ll cut down that one I think little project we we get Home So upon cutting cleaning and varnishing this cut down bottle it does appear to have a crack in the middle well wouldn’t you after 100 Years of laying in a muddy creek but this just adds to the carrots are just just like the lovely bubbles the embossing is perfect and if you’d
Like to own this cut down bottle and in turn help me keep on creating these videos then be sure to check out my Etsy store the link is in the description below it’s where I sell a selection of non-ms river finds and merch such as my mud life crisis t-shirts be sure to
Check it out at the end of the video these test tubes again oh yeah I just pulled that out that must be a battery there must be battery oh so the battery was inside the test tube yeah I just pulled that out so there must
Be yeah little plates oh yeah I see yeah some sort of experiment going on we did find some yeah there was loads here weren’t there t loads of YouTubes H nice it’s interesting good research looks like a good bit little Islanders appeared in the middle here that was there before but have
Little scratch around and see if there’s anything here this really is a mudlock dream see a bit of colored something here I don’t know if that’s broken or whatever it is but we’ll try and get it out that’s a melted melted bottle a lot of the rubbish from yesterday year was
Burnt before it was discarded so a lot of the stuff we find is going to be melted unfortunately but there’s definitely some Treasures here amongst it all I think this could be a little poison bottle absolutely covered in Barnacles and slime yeah it’s like a
Nice green one is it poison not to be taken yeah not to be taken I might leave the binnacles on that maybe just remove the ones that are by the uh the right in yeah nice green one hey first poison bottle Mark actually second one I think
Actually find one over there a brown one a brown one yeah yeah yeah yeah B cool in the bucket you go found something thought I did but no oh we just stand here sort of nudge this one out the way and I always give him a
Little bit of a rub to see if there’s any uh any writing on it and this one looks like an Emulsion Kirby’s Emulsion Grimsby does that say yeah it does Grimsby don’t think I found that one before so it’s a nice one Kirby I remember playing Kirby’s pinball on Game Boy
Years ago that’s one of my favorite Games does anybody remember Kirby’s pinball if you do leave it in the comments below but by that we’ll do some research on old Kirby see what they were about established in 1894 Kirby’s emultion played second fiddle to the main Emulsion company at the time Scots but both essentially sold the same
Product cod liver oil yum in the past cod liver oil was given to young children to provide vitamin B to prevent rickets a weak bone condition that could cause boded legs stunted growth and bone pain did your parents ever Force cod liver oil on to you leave your stories in the comments
Below you got what have you got there let’s get it yeah there you go mud sterilized milk Guilford Guilford Road London I maybe sterilized that’s a strange shape for a milk bottle but maybe you’re right there’s a look like milk there yeah oh yeah it is you’re right yep we
Done yeah that one’s been the fire so unfortunately it’s all walked and twisted bit like Mark yep well actually a lot mud lovers but never fear there’s a part two to this epic menture just click the link at the end of this episode I’m off now to the
Museum to record my ring and talking of rings check out this gorgeous silver creation my friend Wendy handmade for me it’s inspired by the TS foreshore and even contains a wonderful red garnet and gold adornments why not check out her fxy shop where you can buy this and lots

⭐To see the time I find another bucket lister https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RCS8PF5zji0&t=0s ⭐
The ring looks very similar in style to the Roman rings found during the excavation below the Fenwick department store in Colchester known as the “ Fenwick treasure” and now in the colchester castle museum, lots of pictures on line, love your mudlarks👍
That medieval ring has a story , was it thrown into the river after a troubled relationship or was simply dropped in the toilet and flushed away 🤔
Wow what an amazing find 😊 the Gold ring so beuitiful ..lucky 🍀 you x also that spooky ghosty noise really gave me goose pimples
Niiice ring!! An amethyst cabochon too.I work in a grocery store & last month I found this wee charmer with a miniscule diamond chip set into it. Had to turn it in for 30 days, but got it returned this last week when no one claimed it.
I love fragments of dishes with patterns and logos. So interesting!
Lots of lovely finds at that spot. The old ring is super! Love the one Wendy made you.
Eww we had cod liver oil as kids, it was vile. Had a cup of milk after to get rid of the taste of it 😂
That's a beauty of a find Simon! Well done 😊
Thank you for sharing. I enjoyed your video, except for the unnecessary and gross scene at 3:25. 🙂
We had cod liver oil when we were kids x
Great video Simon, what a ring! The colour of the stone is beautiful.
That noise sounded like whale song🐳😂
Looks like a gold possy ring hun well done
Yes, there was another emulsion names Angier’s Emulsion…..every morning we got a spoonful 😂
I saw the blue hovercraft and immediately thought of Noo Noo from Teletubbies 😂😂😂😂
I played Kirby as a kid. It was a fun game.
Wow! The ring is so beautiful we'll done you x
MY PRECIOUS
I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE MUSEUM BOUGHT YOUR FINDS…IF ITS FROM THE 12TH X 14TH CENTURIES 😮
"heart gin" 😂
Sounds like a whale. But stranger things have happened maybe the spirits just wanted to say hi 😊 i love the ring, the stone looks like amethyst. Treasure or not that ring would go on my finger 😂😂😂 i hope you get it back 🤞
Have you be to Chester mudlarking. Old Roman Town.
Very nice ring hope you get it back sooner rather than later.
Sweet Henny Pennys there. Those hens were beautiful.
Whoa!! What was that noise??? Spooky! 😂 Really great finds Si!!!
Wow love the ring. Incredible! I’d love to have a remake. The setting is just so different. Crazy sound u caught on video. Freaky! Love you have all of your animals just walking around together. lol. Great job Si! Definitely Find of the year on the ring❤❤
Gorgeous little ring. Love the shape and stone color
It amazes me how those little hovercrafts dot pop on the rocky parts!
I love the poison bottles. My favorites.
Ghost fart
Am I the only one screaming “WAIT WHATS THAT!!!” As he passes by so many things..
Okkies, of course the gold ring is of course stunning and so far, the find of the year! Congratulations Si! 🎉 Now, Marks hat, I love it! 😊❤
19:25 – that certainly did sound like a child's voice. too hard to understand what it said, but I bet my false teeth that's a child's voice 😊😉
Love the ring, that sounds sounded like whale calling out.
Thats roman 😊
Moaning frog noise
Kuyper sounds like sniper
That ring is magnificent because of its simple, flowing design enhanced by the way in which that gorgeous stone is encased into the gold to flow with the smooth line of the ring. The person who made it was a master crafts person. Wonderful, wonderful find Si!! Very enjoyable video.
The lamp wick could be part of a hand lamp frrom the railway. That would tie nicely with the transport button you found.
My friend turned in a valuable ring he found and after six months of not hearing anything he contacted the museum only to be told the woman he gave it to no longer worked there and they had no record of the ring 😢
Where is your metaaldetector you find more tresure
Si, your ring is beautiful and delicate. Is it Roman or Medieval? I thought it might be from the Tudor period.
Sounds like whales which can be heard over thousands of miles under the water was your tripod in the water at the time? By the way great ring
What a stunning ring. Fantastic spot with gorgeous finds overall! As a lover of the paranormal, that sound was very strange indeed. And hard to explain away given where you are. Interesting. Can't wait for part 2. Aww big cuddles to Daisy, Nelly and the chickadees ♥Teresa xx 🇦🇺♥
Sounds like a seal Si. There was one at the beginning of your video…People used to say it was the voice of drowned Sailors or Mermaids. What a beautiful piece of jewellery. Interested in how the stone was fixed into the gold.
Another fine video this weekend. A list of great finds. Sorry I did not respond earlier, had a bad weekend at the nursing home suffering from ALS. See you again this upcoming weekend. Cheers Si! 🇬🇧🙂👍🇺🇸
De Kruper made flavored liqueurs too.
Sounds like a whale call.. 😊
