Sublime form at the Moment Race for the gold middle is the women’s team Pursuit world champion United States up against the defending champions in the Olympic Games Great Britain for whom Mor Trot and Joe Rasel Shand were on the team when they won goal in London four years ago and Sarah hammer in this American Pest was present

When they finished in second [Applause] place Elanor Barker pulls off they’ll keep for for the time being both Nations as they go through the United States with Kate Catlin now on the front and driving it but they losing ground to Great Britain all the time here oh it’s

Come back a bit the United States 0.683 down they fighting hard here in the United States they’ve lost a rider Great Britain still have four dropping out for the United States is Kate Catlin it’s looking good for Great Britain at the moment still with four Riders the Americans down to three Great Britain

Are absolutely on fire here here they are increasing their advantage absolutely hammering it now over 2 seconds now for Great Britain United States are losing shape a little bit as Great Britain take it through 325 and they still have just under 2 and 1/2 seconds Advantage they lose the right

And now that they are going to build on that lead with two LA to go United States are really Under Pressure here but Great Britain what point of time are they going to do to take the gold medal here in Rio they won in London with

Three Riders over 3 km they’ve got three now with only Joe Russell Shand out of the equation they are hammering are they going to break the world record here as well to both 422 is the world record TI as Great Britain now driving it on the front KT Aral Laura TR behind they

Amy Peters and Kiren will Great Britain have Laura Kenny and Katie archal watch out for the Riders from Denmark coming around that is Emily drion and Julie left nine of 11 Sprints have gone the way of Laura Kenny and ktie archal here they have been absolutely Supreme dominating this first first Madison race

At the Olympic Games and they want to stay out in front out of trouble it’ll be a painful last six laps Julie left there of Denmark can see they’re in silver medal position well for the silver medal it’s all going to come down to that last Sprint silver and bronze it looks pretty

Well decided at this point with Great Britain leading Denmark in second Russian Olympic Committee in third if the Russian Olympic Committee win the Sprint and Denmark don’t get any points they would move into Silvera and the Netherlands if they win the Sprint could move into bronze as long as the Russia

Olymp committee finish below third so that’s how tight it can be the gold medal is pretty much decided with Great Britain in the the dominant position and this young Russian combination have been absolutely outstanding they have been and they’re in Prime position to take maximum points

Too cired fields she’s given a shake of the head to Amy Peters saying I can’t Sprint so she must have been injured with three laps when they come around to go you can see the fight now from the Russian Olympic Committee Denmark not there come around once more for the Bell

They’re winding up for the final Sprint remember double points here 10 64 and two it could determine the minor medals Great Britain have got this race in hand there’s no question about if they have the the gold medal a wave on there from Katie Aral as she

Powers away Laura Kenny goes to the front they are going to win this it has been an outstanding performance Here Comes Great Britain Laura Kenny Katy archal are the Olympic Champions the first in Madison at the Olympic Games Great Britain have been dominant all the way through the first Olympic women’s

    1. One of my favourite TV sporting memories was the first time I saw Laura in a "Devil", I think it was the 2011 European Championships. A tiny wee slip of a 19 year old demonstrating an incredible combination of stamina, speed, acceleration, bike handling and tactical awareness; and on top of that it was supremely entertaining!
